@ last round if robots tend to - erreticly - lead low from a doubleton, doesn't the principle of restricted choice apply? If robots randomly lead low from doubletons the robot could have led a higher card on x% of the occasions, if however the two of clubs is a singleton robot has to lead that card if it wants to lead clubs

If it is random then yes but I think the robots are programmed to lead the 2nd/4th highest card and always lead low from a doubleton but that is something I am completely not used to.

Peter, on board 3 the 1nt opening is not an upgrade nor is it a system choice. It's a tactical bid based upon the vulnerability and is standard among American experts. It would not be unusual for a 13 point hand to be opened 1nt in this situation.

That just sounds like you are suggesting they play a different 1NT opening range 1st seat fave. That is fine but it is a system choice. Your tactic might be more aggressive 1NT openings at favourable but that is a system.
