Poatan's daily dedication to grappling training is not considered by the sports media, or is generally underrated, especially by the hatters. @@ma-bx1oy Well, he's not a young man discovering the world now. I believe that his trajectories in kickboxing and mma say something about his maturity, ability to adapt and quick learning... It's a bit naive to think that the guy isn't brutally dedicating himself to making up for his own deficiencies. The respect and commitment of a professional of Glover Teixeira's stature in training him is also no small thing in this process. And even if he never becomes an excellent wrestler, on the other hand he's not an average striker who lets his opponents off the hook, right? I think that's what the hatters aren't quite willing to see.

Bro UFC and MMA world has been in contact with the Portuguese language for decades now, since the very beginning and there's nobody yet that can say PE RAY RA correctly. OMG this is a shame, especially UFC streaming team. They have great translators in UFC, Why can't they teach DC & crew how to pronounce a freaking Brazilian last name properly? PE RAY RA

Chael Sonnen saying kickboxers don’t do tournaments makes me realize how little the ufc community actually respects and watches kickboxing. That’s insane😂 tournaments are like the staple of kickboxing lol

Alex is his own fighter. As is Yoel. I wouldn't say that he's one version or another. These are unique individual humans.

When the first time i know alex and izzy come from the same sport glory kickboxing, i'm start to watch their fight while them both there, and i realized that izzy never won any title in glory, and got beaten by some former glory kick kicboxer, while all those fighter got beat and dominated by alex, and u see izzy when izzy got to mma, his like almost unbeatable there, which is no fucking way when he was a glory kickboxer, and watch when alex pereira as goat in glory kickboxer and he step up to the octagon he make it look easy, look more easy then what adesanya did in ufc, just 7 fight he can beat 5 former ufc champion, and become 2 divison champion, damn that make me thinking if glory has better fighters than ufc??? And know adesanya will be happy if dana white don't sign any former glory kickboxer in the same weight class as him again, because imagine if fighter like Simon Marcus and yousri belgaouri step in, it will be nightmares not just for izzy but also to all the fighter in the ufc 😂😂😂, and honestly after realized that i begins to watch glory know, because it just so damn good to watch just like ufc, but i think glory need to working more on their marketing side, because they can and deserve better.

I mean i would not say scared but more like aware of how much power he has in his hands and legs , just look at the first fight with Izzy in the UFC , Izzy was winning for 5 rounds and one mistake and he got koed in the fifth round , u have to be 100 % focused every second when fighting Alex because one mistake or de-focus he will see it and use it against you .

How is it possible that all these experts seem to be missing the obvious. Alex is a very good striker but there are better strikers out there. Izzy being one. N fact, if we take away Alex’s power then he loses all five fights to Izzy. I believe even the one he won on points Izzy won. So on that basis Alex is more power than skill, even though he has very high skill level. So at heavyweight he will get knocked out but I’m sure the heavyweights will not take that chance because it gives Alex a chance. If you are a heavyweight use your weight and take him down and keep him there. So I understand all this praise Utd the guy is very beatable and on the ground he has little to no chance against Jones or Stipe and both have very high IQ.

I dont know why anyone is scared? You dont walk out all bloodied up...Alex has that ounch that might make you feel slight uncomfortable but youll be knocked out to feel the rest of the pain. I would say Alex let Jamahal off easy so Jamahal can fight.
