Hey Scarlet Report.. was a little disappointed you did not comment on Onana's part in Collyer's goal line clearance. I am of the opinion that if a goalkeeper choose to stay on his goal line, then he must at the very least attempt to make a safe other then just being stranded and merely watching the ball go past. This has happened too often for my liking. Onana to me is too much of a liability, yes he makes some good safes but that's his job! It is the 'bread n butter' safes that he is neglecting. The 6-yard box is the GK's domain and he should command the area with complete control (like PS did). What's your take on this?

Absolutely. I don't understand how that has gone under the radar. Onana is just not good enough. Check his long passing stat, aimlessly shooting the ball long to lose possesion. We were told he is good with his feet, I'm yet to see how that has helped us in the build up. De Gea was 100x a better keeper than Onana will ever be.

Some nice Post Rock guitar work at the end. United should only sell Garnacho if either they have a replacement lined up and will use the money or the FFP rules will hit hard and we need the money. Overall Garnacho is still a hindrance, he took on 2 defenders at a time too many times and always lost the ball, His pass back towards Toby was underhit which allowed the defender to block it and we were lucky with the deflected shot. His pass to Mazaoui was good but then Mazraoui ignored Hojlund at the near post hoping for a tap in and played it to no one. Bug problem with United crosses, aimless with no idea if anyone can attack the ball. Garnacho had a chance to release Amad on the far side, the ball had to be hit over and dropping berhind the defender for Amad to have a run on goal but ended up underhitting it so easy interception by the defender. Give him till the end of the season to improve otherwise sell.

I had flicked my TV on mid game to immediately see Garnacho ignore the overlapping run of Dalot just to pass back to Bruno who was obviously marked. As expected, Bruno lost the ball and we were countered. That could have easily resulted in a goal and we have seen them happen many times this season. Garna is a huge talent no doubt but the question is, does he have the quality to play for a club like United? He tends to make those final third mistakes and can't score 1-vs-1 to save his life. So if we're going to replace him, then we should. But bring in a better player that's all.

The defenders should be bold enough to play through the lines. There was a sequence when Amad went to the left space Martinez found him but on the right side the RCB hardly plays those line breaking passes towards him. This is very important because when those 2 pivot midfielders are occupied, there should be options for the 10s if their movement is right. But the RCB must be willing to play the pass. Garnacho was wide instead and Mazraoui didn't attack the half spaces frequently. It was a much needed win I can't complain.

The problem with Man united is you analyze a player from what you're seeing when he's in a different club. What you don't want to admit is that had they stayed you wouldn't have made them the shining stars they are for their respective clubs. I just dont get why previous managers using inverted full backs was clueless but amorin doing exactly same is revolutionize. Many of you said dalot as inverted role does not work and here we are after a game with 1 shot on goal. Also some of you praise Maguire. Yes hes good when he can just stand still ahead of keeper and take headers, but look at situations where GK has a ball. hes blocking all passing lanes to DM all the time. As we know Ugarte is not a words most mobile DM and does not really rush to get him self passable, that makes goalkeepers to spray long

And yes, selling Garnacho right now is definitely not something I think should be done, Amorim has something he can develop in him, and his relentless mentality and him already mentally ready to handle the United pressure is difficult to replace in the market. Also, I know youngsters can find themselves playing in premier league challenging, but United academy kids definitely have that Je ne se quoi of handling the pressure of the badge far more than players that are bought, even in the less talented ones like McTominay, or even if it's someone who developed here for a brief period like Kambwala, he had a few mistakes but he never went inside a shell because of that, whereas so many brought players had deers in headlight moments so frequently under the limelight. In future I'd love to see a more rotating roster of youngsters getting few minutes in games, rotating and spreading their appearances across long intervals, padding the squad depth with academy youngsters and giving a break to all players, not making them play 90 minutes all the time.
