For all those asking, I can confirm the IAG AOS Street did not void my warranty. The dealership listed my car as completely stock after inspection and performed warranty work for free. I have the AOS, Cobb sf, catback, and AP.
@Nakaamaa3 жыл бұрын
I work for a dealership. They don’t care what you do to your car. As long as it’s not the reason why your car is having problem, they should still perform service, if not then don’t go to that dealer

My intake is nicely lubed up with oil. My valves are BLACK, and the VW shops locally don't recommend catch cans... I guess they support planned obsolescence, DIY or DIE. I'm trying to adapt this product into my VW.

I had the comp version but converted to the street since I run e50 minimum...Now I'm wondering if the street version is actually doing anything since those gases are still in my engine..I've heard of a few people running 23+psi having the street AOS clog up their EBCS lines...I insulated the return hose with foil tape and insulated mesh wrap because I've heard horror stories about condensation freezing inside the hose causing BOOM

@wanglee212 жыл бұрын
Why isn't this a factory install? I heard you can use these for other brand vehicles also. Therefore should theses be universal for the Subaru engines?
@Mikey60484 жыл бұрын
Nobody can explain to me why, the top throttle body line has a one way valve in it. If we are deleting the PCV system. Why have another PCV? Is it because of running boost to maintain internal AOS pressures? Also how does the block breather not vent into the drain side of the Y splitter? I assume it's because of vacuum effect at the AOS inputs being close to one another and it pulls ventilation gases to the path of least resistance? And the drain should have pressure pushing out?
@DailyClipztt2 ай бұрын
What i understand that IAG pcv part in the hose is nothing but one way check valve from AOS to intake manifold just under throttle body. It's to prevent high pressure going back to AOS when car is in boost

So the port in the middle of the block is to feed gasses into the canister and at the same time (with the Y fitting) dump it into that same port? Why?!
@DailyClipztt2 ай бұрын
I guess multi purpose opening on top of the block right above crankcase. Gases are lighter and will always go up to higher parts but side of the Y is perfect for oil slowly draining down Into crankcase with rest of the oil
