Very impressive and inspirational video. I used to practice myself under the expert guidance of the great Kisaburo Watanabe (he seemed to hold all the cards) at the Budokwai in London during the 60s, so I am fully aware of the necessity for eating the right foods to sustain one's physical body during training. I have to say that eating white bread would not be much of a help to your energy diet and I am surprised that some people still eat the stuff. Surely genuine brown wholemeal bread (there are lots of varieties) would be a bit of an enhancement for you. It even tastes nice toasted!

Ben's got a win rate of over 60% on the world circuit according to Judoinside which isn't too bad. His only issue is training Mon to Fri then working the weekend at his folks business meaning no time off? What I would suggest is training on a two week cycle then on the third week work Mon to Fri earn the money then return to training which means he has those valuable rest periods on the weekends.

Un país como GB no apoya a sus atletas con una beca para aminorar los gastos durante sus competencias??

@@peanutbutler3078 The GB squad relocated from Bath to Walsall and he was invited to make the move but wanted to stay in Bath so he lost his place in the GB squad. He's also half Irish I believe so applied for Irish citizenship and became a member of the Irish Judo association.

Um...Not that big of a struggle at all. Basically his parents, not his work, funds his Olympic dream. I mean it showed he can show up late to work. And obviously he's not paying rent. He better get some endorsement deals after the Olympics to pay them back. Otherwise he's just a mooching manchild, which it looks like.
