Mr. X’s appearance and Dr. Frakes’ Skip Man transporting to Amphibia at the same time the girls did is proof of that. Lastly, Hop Pop’s iconic “Say what?!” reminds me of both Clone High with Gandhi saying the exact same thing and also Bugs Bunny in The Looney Tunes Show where he merely said “I like it.” when responding to Speedy Gonzales’s question about how his pizza tastes and it becoming an iconic line that everyone begs him to say. You’re not too far off from the power source problem. Anne could be use as a batter generator for the portals machine that would show up later this season. The only issue is that Anne can’t use her calamity powers for a long time. If the machine can absorb the powers simultaneously while Anne is unleashing her powers then she should be fine and the machine will be able to keep its power for possibly a few week, maybe months depending on the machines design.

Perhaps the portals are open to different worlds with an energy signature? Remember the box? Certain melodies or buttons must be pressed in order to open a portal to a realm. But not only that, but it also requires an energy source. It explains how the Cloak bot was able to get to earth. The energy signature of the blue gem of the calamity box matched that of the blue energy of Anne. This type of energy serves as not only a way for Andrias to track down Anne, but also open a portal to which world she is on. So this is my theory. I believe that when Anne and the company were teleported, a pattern of energy was unleashed. One that unleashed multiple copy portals like the calamity box toward Amphibia. However, these were unstable and not contained like the box, explaining why the portal quickly closed after the Skip man entered it. If Anne and the planters want to get home, they will have to do two things. The first is to build a device that emits a similar energy output as the calamity box. A device that isn't the box itself but utilizes a pattern that harnesses energy. Said energy emitting from Anne's calamity form. This form somehow is linked to Amphibia and Amphibia is linked to it. If they can build a device that not only matches the pattern required to open the portal to Amphibia but also utilizes Anne's energy when it's emitted from her blue form, they can theoretically open a portal to Amphibia. However, that makes me wonder just how will this work. Is the energy that is used to open portals just electricity or is there something else? Cause as we saw, whatever energy that transmitted from the Calamity box can be harnessed the same way as for electricity? So what exactly is this calamity energy and how does one exactly harness it?

Another Disney crossover via references is a bit of an obscure one for someone to get, when Marcy sees the page with bill cypher, the opposite page has a version of Leonardo DeVinci’s “Perfect Man”, except, rather than a human, it depicts a gargoyle, but this is not an ordinary gargoyle, but it is Goliath, from the 90’s Disney cartoon “Gargoyles”, and from how that show ended, it could be canon to Amphibia, just never acknowledged due to it being an event from the 90’s in NYC, and Amphibia being in modern day LA, just saying, if they wanted to do make it canon, even if it is a background cameo, like a newspaper clipping on Mr. X’s board

At the moment, I see a few ending ideas. With all the imagery around Sasha loosing an eye, Anne loosing an arm, and with Marcy- I mean uh ahem *Darcy.* I feel like at least somebody is gonna end up permanently scarred. Whether that’s Anne/Sasha loosing a body part, or potentially Marcy being killed off, I doubt all three of them are gonna get out of this unscathed. But that’s not the only problem, what’s gonna happen to amphibia the planet? At the moment, we can safely guess that in the end, amphibia as a location gonna be alright, and the core is gonna be reformed/killed, same for andrias. Leading to all newts/toads/frogs joining together, and likely a new leader. But how is it gonna connect to earth? Is it all gonna link together (as in, humans/amphibians hop between the worlds on the fly), or is it gonna remain entirely separate, and mostly secret, from earth, just like it was before? what about the plantars? They’re either gonna choose to stay on earth with Anne, or go back to amphibia, as it is their natural habitat. And not to mention all the death flags for hop pop. Worse case scenario: Marcy ends up dead, Anne and Sasha end up severely injured (and eye and arm loss respectively), and amphibia and earth are entirely separated once more. Best case scenario: amphibia and earth are eternally linked, with humans living on amphibia and vice-versa. The three girls are left mostly unscathed, and the plantars live with Anne for the rest of their lives. Not to say either of those are likely, but it’s what the worst/best could possibly happen, regardless of likeliness. It’s probably gonna end up a mixture between the two.
