Two of the biggest skills an RPG player can have is 1) controlling the dice role and 2) making effective use of what ever role comes up regardless. Depending on how to throw the dice, like pitching a baseball, will easy influence if not control how it comes up. I figured it out as a kid and there are times I'm so good at it it feels like cheating. Even so, always having a plan or just some good idea what to do, even with things go "ass-end up" is much more useful than landing 20's all the time. This especially if you are not the one rolling the dice. The Core may easily be learning how to actually play the game not just participate in it.

As much as I get that we've been waiting a good while to get any acknowledgment of Sasha and Marcy's families, I think it makes sense that Anne took her time. She probably spent a lot of time thinking about how and when to talk to them, and trying to find the right words to day. So to have her finally write letters to them, especially during the holidays, she was probably thinking of them, and I think it fits her arc very well

Frankly, I have a lot of trauma related to Christmas, so I don't like Christmas specials at all. This is just a really hard time of year for me. But this episode made me go AWWWW at the small, cute moments so many times. Even the fact that this episode confirmed that Anne and the Plantars now share a bed, what with Anne's parents waking them all up at once for cookies. That one was god damn adorable! Really? It was the fact that it's Amphibia that saved this episode for me. I would have hated something that's just this Christmassy, but I love Amphibia so much that it balanced itself out. And I recognize that others don't have the same trauma that I do, so I can't be upset that the characters are happy and enjoying themselves.

There's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it reference to The Fairly OddParents at the IT-Gals Christmas party where there's a small robot dog that does a backflip, which I'm pretty sure is a reference to Flipsy, the toy companion of Dark Laser. I don't know if any of people working on Amphibia also once worked at Nickelodeon but all the other mentions of cast members and their previous involvements with other shows doesn't make this a stretch.

As good as season 3 is, I sure do hope that the rest of the season will be more plot progressive. We’re almost halfway through the season and we have no idea what the protagonists are going to do to stop andrias! They only have like one or two hints two towards how they’re gonna get back to amphibia(the world) And we’ve only had one Sasha episode. As for Anne’s powers, I’ve been patient about that(because usually when a character gets powers it takes a good while before they can use it whenever and however they want) I think it’d be cool if we learned more about it without anne actually using them. I definitely want to see her use it on threats other than robots or andrias though.

I get that it’s the first half of the season, and the plantars are trying to get used to being on earth or whatever, but too much filler and they’re gonna make a rushed finale. And despite the drawbacks (doesn’t know how to use it also it’s tiring) to Anne’s powers, which again, I’ve been more patient with because of how that usually goes, I feel like they could’ve elaborated on it a liiiiiiitle bit more.

Which I can only assume, and hope, that it means more plot. Judging from season 2, maybe they were getting all the filler out of the way so that the second half has all the plot we need. Or something like that… Despite the filler episodes, I trust the writers (sorta?)

Love a good special! As for King Andrius and the Core, I've got a theory. Andrius is so childish because of his age, or more exactly Newtopian tech. Andrius is thousands of years old. There's no time discrepancy between worlds, so pink frog girl showing up to the vikings puts King A at over 1000 for sure. So the newtopian tec is good enough to perpetuate life, but perhapse not indefinitely. Or perhapse the 8 newts were seeking some ascended state after concoring death. Either way, these 8 newts before the core must have been some kind of High counsel that Andrius ruled with or under their order being a figurehead. Andrius is basically a kid because when you can live forever, there's no need to grow up. He's essentially been grounded this whole time without the music box. I really want to know what happened to Andrius and why his friends betrayed him... aside from, ya know, vauge evil maliciousness.

I found it funny how when Mrs Boonchoy was throwing decorations everywhere, she decorated the tree in no time, then when saying “we will do other things” after turning down the float, one thing she listed was decorating the tree, which she had just done by herself! 😂 Also, the letters at the end are even more saddening when we consider the fact Anne still thinks Andreas killed Marcy… what would the letter to the Wu’s say, that Marcy is gone, or would Anne lie to them in the letter?!

I love Froggy Little Christmas and I like The Intro, Rebecca Sugar singing A great Christmas Song was Lovely, Anne and her Family took down The Robot Santa, Darcy appearing and ready to take down Andrias and Sasha's Parents are Divorced and maybe didn't have enough Time for her so this was A tearful and Merry Mis-Season 3 Finale so I hope Sasha and Marcy's Parents will be coming to Amphibia and Marcy will be freed from The Core and The Final Battle of Andrias and his Robot Army and The Girls will use their Powers to stop Andrias so I'm excited to see The 2nd Half of The Final Season of Amphibia!🐸👏🎄🎅🎁
