Annika Sorenstam didn’t really start taking herself seriously until she felt she wasn’t living up to her full potential. She never practiced her sand game until it nearly cost her a tournament. When her desire to become the best overtook her she made a plan and she stuck to it. She hired a putting coach and she found a formula for hitting the ball straight. ‪@TheForgottenGolfer‬ explains the very basic thing she focused on. Rocco’s swing is similar. One of his keys is rotating his chest like Annika so it “went out to the golf course”. I went to it because I lift so I didn’t want to screw up my back with a more torqued swing. One of the other keys to this type of swing is strengthening your grip. It will not work if you do not get your weight over your right foot in the backswing. Seems overly simple, but it works.

Whether it’s mid 250s or 274 total isn’t important. She brought the best all around golf package to the game in her day. No wonder she’s in the Hall of Fame.

That's why I say everyone has a unique swing I never noticed her looking up but I saw her swing was quite ite different somehow hey I might try that could work but I don't have any problems getting to the left side interesting

You know what Abe Lincoln said - Never believe anything you see or read on the internet. I am sure Annika could hit 240+ just by the results she produced. I have attended a few LPGA tournaments and the vast majority of the women only hit around 220 max and some less than that. All the top women when they are on top form are very accurate on approach shots and then it comes down to putting on the day. Being very long off the tee does not win every week - look at Rory's massive blow up this last week in Ireland.

You never know- my cousin was hitting balls next to Nelly Korda and he watched her smack it 300 yards with Range Balls. And he’s a scratch golfer, so he knows what 300 yards looks like
