This video tells of a bad habit I've dealt with for the 58 years I've been a golfer. I fix it, and it comes back. I fix it again, and slowly, I revert back to the bad habit because it feels so comfortable. Alarm bells go off when suddenly I lose the ability to hit solid shots. Today I I used Ben Hogan short back swing the ball came out like a rocket like magic I've never seen that

I play once in a while with older gentlemen. He has a similaer swing to yours. He popps it way out there. The only thing he does different , is that he lets his face turn to the right with his spine, and doesnt try to keep his head centered. Then turns his face to look at the target as he is pivoting he has a lovely pivot. at some point in your life you want more mobility than stability. I had tweaked my back a few months ago and could not take my normal swing. I rememred what he did and he did mentioned to me one time he caught me at the range. now you look like me. we got a good laugh out of it but I played that way untill my back was better. and I played pretty good that way.

I went out today and Monday and was hitting it flat...looked like count Dracula with his cape up to his face...couldnt figure it out until watching this vid..Thanks for the tip ..!!

It's funny how these little things creep into our swings. I try to make a mental checklist of posture and address but it's not easy to always stick to it.

See how much better the golf postures of Lydia Ko and Nelly Korda are. Because they have great posture. My posture is not that great, thus I have to keep watching my address position all the time.
