truly an exceptional piece of photojournalism. this war is fought in muddy waters. they're attacking military targets which are using civilian infrastructure. the two countries technically do not appear to be at war or considering themselves to be invading each other, even if israel has tanks and boots on the ground over the border. america claims to want a ceasefire, but they are selling these guys their weapons. in the end it's probably 5 civilian deaths to 1 fighter. these bombs dont't care if you're five years old. and lebanon would be doing the same thing if they had the firepower, but the US sells israel the most sophisticated antimissile technology in the world. people get hellishly rich off of this stuff, too. i was in sales for a while. you're subject to market conditions. imagine being an arms salesman when there's a war popping off???

Interesting the trade offs between aperture and exposure time. To get a photo like this you need a very short exposure time which means a larger aperture and smaller depth of field. Perhaps there a newer cameras that solve the depth of field issue somehow.
