It's thought that more than 11 million people, including at least two million children, have had to flee their homes in Ukraine since Russia invaded the country in February.
15-year-old Polina, her five-year-old sister, Taisiia, and their mum Svetlana, made the journey from Ukraine to the UK in search of a new life.

It's not honest to let in Ukrainians from the West non-war zones, meanwhile many from the war zones struggle in Ukraine. If you remember, in the West they even may refuse to give humanitarian aid to Russian-speaking refugees from the East, demanding them to speak only Ukrainian. I'm myself from a Ukrainian Russian-speaking region, the civil war wouldn't start if the new pro-EU government (who got power after the armed coup) didn't opress Russian-speaking Ukrainians and opposition.
