How are the Abandoned Riverwalk Elevators in Louisville, KY Doing? Do They Work?

What were they like? Fairly nice, or badly vandalized?

@@upanddownadventures It wasn’t that good of a video. It was titled “Hillbilly’s in an Elevator” or something like that. These have/had a voice. It was hard to tell what kind of shape these were in in the video. The video was from 2008-2009 iirc. It’s possible that these elevators still work however they are regularly vandalized and the city has given up on fixing them for a long time.

I was in Louisville this past Friday Those elevators are terrible I guess the city owns them

Iirc they still work, they have been restricted from any public use however due to the current state of the lifts, as well as safety concerns over broken parts. I do remember that there was a way of riding them using an access key
