I secretly love the Hummer. It's a car with an amazing origin story, and I was excited to tell it in this video. Be sure to subscribe to the channel for my weekly mini-movies about the world of cars. [NOTE: At 6 minutes, 57 seconds, I say 2018, I meant to say 2008. I apologize for the error]

I also LOVE Hummer, and i hope your views go Up, is not normal to see these edits and so low views, maybe is the title, maybe the tags, or maybe the description, but is not normal if i got in my good & abandoned Channel, more views than you in this, something is not right

The Hummer was one of my favourite vehicles, until I had to get along with such a car for about half a year. When it is about to get in to one of these, you have to be less than 185cm and not too fat, in order to fit. It has too tiny seats, with the transaxle in the middle of the cabin (the coffin as we used to call it) and is too wide from side to side, making your life difficult. Furthermore, in the fire of the battlefield, someone would have something too practical and simple to use, in contrast with this rock on wheels. If something malfunctions, or is non factional, either can fully stop the car from moving, or the owner will have to spend a lot of hours, tooling, machinery and of course, PILES OF MONEY, in order to get his vehicle repaired. However, it has a funky driving, with the brake discs mounted on either side of the differentials, and a lot of bouncing at full stop. It has also tremendous off road capabilities...

Hummers were a bit of a flop here in Australia. Yes they were cool but weren’t so good off road because of their width. Most serious bush tracks here are only as wide as the majority of the vehicles that use them with the widest being Land Cruiser and Patrols and the H1 is a good 8 inches wider than those. This means a lot of slashed side walls or being physically unable to get through gates ect. The H3 were sold by Holden and generally considered to be driven by wankers and posers.

I have 4 Teslas but recently I drove a Hummer H2 it was amazing ! In one case you are polluting the air and in the other case you are dumping toxic battery waste in the ocean both ways you are screwing the environment in which you live so badly that people who work and own these motor companies will have to eventually be brought to justice sooner than later.

After 3 Nissan LEAF EV's, back to Toyota' Hybrid in the 2022 Corolla Hybrid & staying there until solid state batteries are in their 3rd or 4th revisions or Na-ion replacing cobalt & lithium ion NMC NCA etc / unless the battery 200kWh it needs a range extending generator, small engine generator that runs on a small gasoline fuel tank to boost range when battery gets to 30% state of charge.

I have 2 m998 humvees and both of them get better milage than my f250. They got such a bad rap from idiots. Mine run great and dont break down. They are about 5000 lbs and my f250 weighs 12,000. Lbs. Think about that. If you believe everything the media tells you then your subject to politics. 360 miles per tank of 25 gals of Diesel. 14.4 miles per gal.

Why would they have a problem making a Hummer for him? What makes it not street legal I don't understand.

My dream car as a child, and still a dream as an adult a 2006 h1 alpha wagon in yellow, or maybe a yellow H3 adventure.... Made me laugh that 4 dollars x gallon is high, that's an average day here in europe, where you go to the station and pay 1,50€ x litre of diesel, and 1,70€ x litre of 95 gasoline today (remember 1 gallon is 3,7 litre), so make the maths, and you will feel fortuned 😂😂😂

The focus and attention was limited to its looks, poor fuel economy and ridiculous high price. There isn't any basis to determine if this junk is any good. Engine Type, Performance, Brake System, Transmission, Suspension, Handling and most important is Longevity and cost of Maintenance. Off-Road versus Street Version specifications etc. etc.
