How very beautiful the setting you are in! When I start to feel stressed about the virus situation, I spend more time in or watching nature. Despite the chaos in the world now, the spring flowers still bloomed, the sun shone, and the wind still sang through the pines. These things have been, these things will be. And that is comforting and solid.

The greatest fear is the fear of death. But death is nothing to us because when we are here, death is not here; and death is here, we are not here. `Was that life ?' I want to say to death. `Well then! Once more!' What shall I be after death ? Answer: Nothing and everything.

I have a question. I was reading that a qigong master in the 1930’s or 1940’s was dying of tuberculosis and he watched his brother die beside home. He started reading an old qigong book and did the simple qigong lying on his back and did it for many hours of the day (because he had nothing else to do because he was so ill). He slowly progressed each day and eventually healed himself of tuberculosis and helped the people in his ward heal their tuberculosis. My question is do you think that tai chi and qigong and cultivating qi can help prevent or maybe even cure covid-19 because the immune system would be so healthy and harmonious along with all of the tantiens, etc.?

Hello there is a very similar report of Zen master Hakuin, who was suffering from Chi sickness( some say it was probably tuberculosis). He searched for a Taoist Hermit that teached him the Butter meditation. That was a video with very useful information. And I am always in favour of being calm while in sickness. It helps you to keep a calm state when you actually get sick because it helps your body fight off the disease more easily. Unfortunately I live in a city with millions of people. It isn't easy to keep healthy and I am mainly concerned for my older relatives since their immune system is weak with old age and I am constantly in buses, metro, work, etc passing around microbs, infections, etc. That does make me worry a lot...it is a factor I can't control, another loved one's chi which is deteriorating with old age... I have a question for Master Gu though. If you had a student and while in training he got seriously sick, what would you do? Stop training and isolate him? Stay with him and risk an infection yourself? Thank you for sharing another great video with us, I am grateful for your wisdom and teachings. 🙏🏻🙇🏻‍♀️👏☯☯

Hello Angela for asking questions. When you are in a big city, it's like a high speed rotating machine. Your health very much rely on your calm state of mind; you have no way to move away the other negative elements. The way out is finding time and come to Wudang Mountains - an unpaired spot for wellness. When the situation you mentioned happened in our school, we will at first place send him to nearby hospital. What we do is offering wellness skill for you not to get ill.

It does apply. The teachers of Wudang are not of a legitimate lineage or tradition so they don’t actually follow any historical principle. Modern Wudang was restored from history (fraud) by the CCP who have Zhong Yunlong (the current grandmaster) in their back pocket. Some of the Chen Taiji family have mentioned this in Hong Kong previously but the CCP will also admit it themselves (if you directly approach their cultural councils and committees). It’s shocking but basically a way of making money from fading culture. This angered people like Xu Xiaodong - as he believes them to be quite hypocritical. I.e they chase money greedily whilst being ‘Taoists’. Beware.
