Imagine being stranded on an island, you haven't eaten for days, about to collapse from starvation... Then you see a tin can washed up on the beach, you scurry to the can and open it with what little energy you have left. You salivate with anticipation, the thought of a delicious snack that he may have to live on, finally popping the lid off... Only to reveal it was this kit, as you lay down, dropping the can, slowly closing your eyes as you perish from lack of nourishment.

I would think that on an island, fishing hooks and line would come in handy. One thing they could add would be something to make fish actually bite...either a bit of pork rind as bait, or some kind of lure. Could still be tiny. Also, instead of that shiny sticker, a plastic mirror with a hole in the middle wouldn't cost much and would be much more useful.

The lid of the can! You forgot that! Wrap it around the candle for a windshield. Use it to cut things. Apply the signaling material to that (even if it isn't self adhesive, just take a piece of the duct tape & fold it on itself to make it double sided. You can then take the pop-top ring, with a piece of the thread & hang it on a branch, let the wind do it's job. Heck, you can take the ring & use it to hang several things off of a single mount point. You can use the lid folded and turn it into a funnel. And you can even put it back on the can to contain contents with the duct tape.
@gligo75866 жыл бұрын

“Is the whistle loud?” * *I was watching this at my desk with my earbuds in. Whistle shortened all computer systems. I lose my job. I tell my wife I lost my job. She cries. Kids cry. Toaster cries. I shoot toaster because what kinda toaster cries? Wife, distraught about toaster, takes kids and leaves to run away with our neighbor Hank. Toaster, the one I shot, comes back as a blender. Machines take over world. Hank, neighbor, is their leader.* “Eh,kinda.”

Those matches are strike anywhere matches. The dipping in wax makes them harder to light however, as the wax acts as a lubricant and reduces the friction. Take the wax off the white tip with a fingernail and try striking by keeping the tip at a 90 degree angle to the rough striking surface (try using a rock without so many pits, sandstone works well)

Ughh in Asia you can buy the individual stuff (actually more) for pennies but I don’t think we can stack all those stuff in a tuna can though because It’s really hard like in SL a 50 was matches(only stem) cost a little less than 5cents. And fish hooks are cheap and a little quality. If you want safety pins you can get like a bunch of em for less than 30cents quality ones but low quality one for 10cents. Also thread is cheap if you really push you can buy thangus/nilone strings for really cheap too....

I Jerry-rigged the safety pin to my line and casted off & within a few minutes had a bite, unfortunately the safety pin 🧷 was lost & nephew wore his swim trunks home 😂
