Let's take a look at how beatboxers such as ‪@Dharni‬, ‪@beatpellahouse‬, ‪@BeatboxJCOP‬, ‪@beatbox_klim.‬, and others are gaining millions of followers!
All of these beatboxers are utilizing short-form content to grow their social media accounts. In this video, I will try to figure out what makes their videos so successful, and after I do, I will use what I learned to try to replicate their success. Are you ready?

It's awesome that more beatboxers are taking advantage of the shortform content to kinda boost themselves, but i just wish all those views from the shorts went to the longform videos. But that's never the case

True! It's cool seeing everybody build their own platforms! From what I have seen, the audience built from short-form content doesn't really transfer to long-form videos. I even asked Dharni once and he said that they were two separate audiences. I think as a creator it is all about what you value more.

I think this is an unfair experiment, especially on the KZbin shorts front, uploading on only 5 days out of 7 would significantly reduce your performance on the algorithm. If you miss a daily upload of a short you are likely to lose algorithm placement for the next 3-5 days. After 2 weeks of daily uploads you will see a bump in views on shorts. Also a lot of these explosive growths on KZbin is from disabling the "Publish to subscriptions feed and notify subscribers" setting on the video - disabling this feature puts your short into the mix of all shorts to everyone instead of seeing a huge loss of retention from your subscribers not clicking the notification, this immediately boosts your shorts potential from the moment it goes live.

I set the parameters of the experiment for what worked best for me and my schedule. Of course if I uploaded 7 days instead of 5, I would have gained more views, that is an extra 4 videos. The primary focus of this video was to analyze and discuss what is working for them and to give their style of content shot myself. I pointed out their upload schedules and exactly what they are doing so that if somebody wanted to replicate, they could. I have heard about the whole "Publish To Subscriptions Feed" bit before, but never heard any proof to back it up. I would have to reach out to other creators to see if they have tried it themselves.

@@TylaDubya I understand setting it for what works well for you, the issue is that what works well for people isn't what works well for growth, which is why I think it's not a fair comparison to review the statistics. As for the publish to subscribers, I can attest to it working really well, channels I help manage have seen a 700-15000% jump in growth over the last 2 months just using that tactic

Love this. Appreciate the effort that goes into not only this video but your others videos! I think definitely, people's attention span having been shortening over time, and I think one of KZbin's requirements to get monetization could be "4,000 hours of public watch time within a 12-month period or 10 million public KZbin Shorts views within a 90-day period" So they do value KZbin Shorts a lot.

dude i really wish this got more than literally 800 views. unfortunate how neiche this beatboxing genre is. as beatboxers, from my perspective i found this soooo interesting. keep making crazy content for this community it’s like nothing i’ve seen from others

Thank you! I'm happy that you found it interesting! The beatboxing genre is pretty niche and I feel like the topic of beatbox content creation is even more so. It's unfortunate that this video isn't performing as well, but hopefully, that changes over time!

Beatboxers like mighty bro he had like 5k or 10k subs bur after uploading shorts he boosted within 2 or 3 months he crossed 150k + subs. And jcob my god he had like 26m+ subs.

There are two things I don't like about most of these shorts are - 1. Some of them are actually fake and can't even beatbox it's like calling yourself a singer while using shit ton of autotune. 2. Most of these videos are focused on sounds rather than pattern or flow which makes people think that beatboxing is just mimicking real life sounds. Conclusion - yeah I am happy that beatbox is getting popular but it's going in the wrong direction. For example- dance is an amazing art but most influencers sexualize it just to get some views which affects the art itself
