How being Fil-Am shapes Nikko Remigio’s world view I So Informed

There are very few #NFL players of Asian descent, and even fewer who are Filipino. #NikkoRemigio is one of the few Fil-Am football players to raise the flag on an NFL field.
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver discusses the challenges of aspiring to represent on the football field when there were few Filipino precedents in the league. He also talks about trying to fit in as a biracial athlete and not fitting neatly into any one category.
Remigio also discussed times when he encountered racial hate and how he was able to cope with those experiences.
