This last week Luke Gromen recited a quote: "It's very dangerous to be right when powerful men are wrong." And Powerful men are wrong right now. Bitcoin is our armor. This is where Lowry is spot on, we can have a peaceful revolution bcuz we are defended by this encrypted projection of power. Power to the people baby

Ran thru a stint where I was studying hiedeger and was struck by his ideas of "being" and the principle of "throwness"... it was interesting, finding eric helped locked these ideas into a modern lens for me. I dont advise digging too far into nazi associated thinkers but eric does an excellent job of peeling back the underlying case for many of the reasons that the nazis went completely off the rails... they even tried to coopt Nietzsches work and he had been dead decades before Hitler took power.... these are profound thinkers, be prepared to be challenged internally with their books; however, it's crazy the amount of similarities to what we are dealing with today and it's worth looking at. Gov is not our friend right now, it's clearly overgrown, eric makes excellent arguments for why we need to check this beast. I still cant tell if eric is insane or a genius. Perfect. I hope I never have to choose.

I have a friend just like Erik who has a similar intense fervour to want humanity to strive for better things, coupled with the references and lateral thinking ability. It's definitely a balance between 2 mental states at this kind of level.

"I Prefer Not To" amazing quote, they cant take from you what you choose not to give them! When the mighty Atlas finally shrugs and drops the weight of the world from his shoulders, it will be simply bcuz he decided to no longer sanction his own undoing.

Erik is great. I don't think things get as bad as he warns about but I think it's great that he does because it keeps me vigilant against it happening. I agree more with Peter that the Ready Player One future will be mostly optional. It will be akin to playing video games today, and it won't be a pod. It will be AR glasses with voice activation and eye tracking or neural brain-computer interfaces. Some will spend their lives in the "pod" of their tiny apartment, living off government provided CBDCs and healthcare, while others will reject them in favor of "the real world" and freedom money (BTC). Most people will operate somewhere in-between. AI is going to supercharge this transformation. Just my current theory on how this plays out.

Bless Erik for mentioning the Armenian genocide. He's right, the same thing happened where the population was forced to give up their weapons and left defenceless followed by atrocities that killed 1.5 million Armenians. Never give up your guns.

I remember a shift in my thinking when I was like "oh...the problem is the POWER the government would need to take care of everyone's needs" ..not that the idea of taking care of everyone is bad but it's the means to do it.... Seems pretty common sense to me now lol, but I think it's important to understand if you're talking to kids that are just like "just give them the power so they can get things done and take care of everyone what's the problem? just give the good people the power!" ...the POWER is the problem...
@christinewillis75459 ай бұрын
I respectfully disagree. The people is the problem - not the power. We repeat the cycle when we attribute power to someone else - whether it is forced or voluntary. BTC has changed my life completely. Forever questing, forever searching - and I never thought about the why. Erik has mucked up my thinking. Like a hurricane -sucked the complacency out of me.

Peter, please do not refer to yourself as a "dumbass" anymore. There are so many categories of "smart". The world is so complex, we need folks like you to skip along the top of all these deep topics and draw them together in a web. I think what you do requires much more skill than you give yourself credit for. I defend you because I am like you. Carry on. ❤

Peter, I hope you or Danny see this. Just as Bitcoin faces misconceptions and FUD, yet reveals profound implications when deeply understood, so too does Christianity when approached with open eyes and intellectual rigor. The truth found in God's word has an impact that far exceeds the enlightenment that Bitcoin has brought us. I understand being on the other side of belief in relgion or God, and hearing this message countless times, but I wish someone told me it wasn't just about faith, but also a mountain of evidence. I have to ask, if you found Christianity to be true, would you believe? Imagine, converting people to become Bitcoiners determined that persons souls eternal destination. It is the same feeling for me as a Christian, having done the work, and wanting everyone to see what I see and for them to accept the free gift of salvation.
