I was once told by a trainer that it costs money to pay other opponents when trying to build a fighters’ record and that sponsors are needed if a guy doesn’t have an Olympic background. So my question is,is that an excusable reason to throw a fighter in with just anybody because of finances & things not being handed like Olympian’s get?I always was curious about the business side of boxing.

No....You still have to strategically match your fighter to gwt the exp necessary to become GREAT.....take me for example I never went to the Olympics so my manager hand selected opponents to build me overtime as I gained the exp I didn't "currently" have. Little people knew I got signed to one of the best promotions & went on to have a GREAT career. Matching you guys is EVERYTHING. Can't take fights just to take them....

Can you get a pro license with no trainer? Im 30 years old no amateur experience only sparring which was about 10 years ago haha I initially stopped due to personal demons getting the best of me im a family man now I work a 9-5 job. But this is something ive always wanted to do and at this point of my life I truly dont give a shit about winning or losing if anything im more than willing to take a journeymen route no problem its the fight against myself on why I wanna do this more than anything. In other words do you think I can go to the commission on my own? Thanks for the great content shoutout from Phoenix 🏜️
