Protip: Change BB rearwards on uphill braking zones and change it forward on downhill braking zones.

Sorry if I misunderstood anything but wouldn't that just put the braking pressure on the tires which already have more load on them?
@tellopes2 жыл бұрын
@@kronos711 Having more load means the tire is pushed harder onto the track and therefore has more grip, which means it won't lock up as easily and can handle the increased braking pressure. Unloaded tires are usually the ones that lock up.

Utilizing brake bias was so helpful for me and works especially well on load cell pedals as you can really get a proper consistent feel and nail the corners making your laps so much quicker

Great video as always! It’s funny how I also made a video on how to brake in simrqcing this week :p One thing I would add about brake bias is that it can also be used to induce more over- or understeer while trailbraking, this can be used to adapt bb depending on the corner profile. Apart from that top notch content!

The hardest breaking situation is on the progresive curbs, where you come with higher speed, then the curb radious decrese and you need to apply more brake pressure, but you dont have where to put the car in streight line, so you can easily spin.
