IMPORTANT: Heya! This is not the online multiplayer mod Pointcrow has been talking about. I had a quick chat with him this morning so I wanted to let you know that his mod wasn't leaked at all or given to me early. That one will be far more robust and is debuting later this summer. With that said, KirbyMimi has been contributing tons of awesome multiplayer mods over the years and I've always loved taking them for a test drive. The one you see here does have bugs and was originally a split screen mod, but due to difficulties of trying to get a second camera to run without bogging down the game, it was converted to a single camera mod. Warping and respawning can sometimes cause the Links to swap their gear, so that is why you see their gear swapping throughout the video sometimes! There's other slow motion glitches and stuff too, but it is still a really fun experience!

It turns out the only way Ganon can kill you is a glitch that literally breaks the game

Im pretty sure that the glider glitch happens when the game is taking on too much. I've triggered it once or twice by overloading the game with shock arrows and multi bows, but I don't know exactly how.

i think its cus links save file is a bit orrupted liek the apparatus storage glitch basically

Wait, somebody actually managed to mod multiplayer into this? I had heard that modding multiplayer into botw would basically be impossible by a few sources after somebody (either Pointcrow or Smant, I don't remember which) offered a reward for whoever did it.

Yes, actually multiple people managed to. The people who call that impossible are professional game devs who think the only reason people do stuff is money. But modders and fans have time and time proven that nothing is out of scope given enough time and or passion.

The bullet time/flurry rush issue also happens if you somehow pull off one in the moon jump state, since I've had something similar happen in a fight against Calamity Ganon before. Same with the gliding on the ground thing, and some of the other issues shown in this video. I am curious why the mod would cause this sort of effect though. Either way, good video! Interesting to see how things work here.

I love doing dumb stuff in the world of Hyrule. I mean, how else can you have fun in a world where you can use the moment from a bomb that was launched your back by another explosive while having time run in slow motion while in midair? How could you resist the temptation of (I'm not joking when I say this, I've seen it, and it happened in regular gameplay. I wasn't even messing around, I was abiding by the laws of nature like a good boy) meeting someone who's oriented the complete opposite way they should be so that their feet are the only things that stick out of the ground? Not to mention that messing around with superslides with bombs in OoT and becoming the Fierce Deity anytime I want as long as there's a nearby pool of water that goes deep enough in Majora's Mask is fun too. It's always fun to walk around as a 7'9" god in Majora's Mask.

Is there anyway to watch these in action like in a livestream ? I love your videos but am not a fan of the voice over format. It would be a lot of fun to see the to see the gameplay while you’re experiencing it for the first time in the moment. I think flurry rush can be made in real time, and automatic in multiplayer. The slowdown could spawn a bouble, where the slowdown effect is

What’s your main issue with him? Are your hearts and stamina upgraded enough, is your armour upgraded? Are you using meals to buff your attack and defence? I believe in you! Just prepare properly and you’re ready to go on a frenzy

The fact that modders can do this makes me mad that this co-op feature isn't baked into the game as it's clearly possible and would have made BOTW even more spectacular than it already is double the fun. I hope BOTW2 has it but highly doubt it I don't know what happened to developers making games 2-4 Player it's like it's a dying breed or rare experience when back in the 07 era and pass it was all the rage it's a real shame especially the couch co-op elements at least some games off drop in drop out online but it's not the same.
