could you make a video about how to make an apron dress? That would be great!

+Dunia Anwar That video has actually been in the works for a while. I just need to get the wool and stuff together. My Girlfriend is putting together set of garb based on the Fyrkat woman and as such will need everything from under dress to apron made. So when that project gets going, I'll be posting videos of that whole process.

+Thorbjorn Jorkelsson can't wait! I'd like to make something similar and I like your videos because you give a lot of extra advice. So I'll be waiting :)

Where did you get that great woven fabric, looks handwoven? I have just laid out my fabric to start my apron dress.......panic! Did you do a video on this?

+LibellulaGlass That fabric is actually Donegal tweed. I believe that it's woven on an industrial loom but and old one. The weave is quite loose and it really amazing fabric. I actually got this from someone that was just giving it away (about 6 yards) and have been making really special projects from it ever since. women's garb is something that I really need to make a video on. The construction and how to make allowances for differing body types and differing life needs as well as where to find good quality garb.

I know this is an old comment, but I wanted to say panic indeed haha. I stared at my linen for about two weeks before I cut anything because I was so afraid of making a mistake. Terrible. lol

I have only seen the straps sewn more flat, and not like this at all. Also Why is there two turtle brooches? I think the weight is more dispersed if its two straps. I have everything else sewn but not the straps sooo I was looking for more info.
