The WNBA is finally give their players Chartered Flights and there are 143 women in the WNBA who should be thanking Caitlin Clark because it is the increased revenue in ticket sales and tv broadcasts generated by Clark that is allowing the league to afford this. I doubt this will happen but it should. Personally, I don't think the haters like Diana Taurasi, Breanna Stewart, and Lexie Brown should receive this benefit and should still have to fly commercial lol.

Angel Reese flew to NY to attend the Met Gala on a private plane. Clark, Reese and Brink can fly their teams private on their own dime. It's encouraging that the WNBA is waking up to the possibilities the new draft class is bringing to the league.

They deserve every penny. 50 or so private flights for 20 passengers would be well over a million dollars. No Player is picking up that tab. The WNBA, because of the massive influx of "Caitlin Cash" (The Fever will bring in well over One Hundred Million in ticket, concession, merch, and sponsor revenue.) is the ONLY reason charter flights are possible. The WNBA may say it has been in the works, but never was feasible until now. And I get a kick out of the players acting like they have no idea why this happened right now.

A lot of colleges charter planes. A lot of them have a lot more money than WNBA But WNBA does have some money they can reallocate which is what they did.

That is NOT what happened. WNBA gets 10 million from the NBA each season to stay in business. There wasn't money to "reallocate" or it would have happened years ago along with higher salaries. Not come next year; not in September; the WNBA as of today has grossed...better sit...Just from Fever Home Game Ticket Revenue - over 50 MILLION dollars. Let that sink in. After taxes, related expenses, and paying back the NBA their 10 beans, they have the 20 million or so for hundreds of charter flights. With growth around the entire league included the profit can pay for a ten-foot golden statue of Saint Caitlin of Des Moines, Patron Saint of WNBA Cash, in front of everywhere lady hoops are played.
