Slight rotator cuff tear? I can tell you i tore my upper and lower completely, i was told by the orthopedic surgeon that it has a slim chance of being back to normal, he told me, you tore the hell out of it, after surgery you will not be able to be back to work for 6 months to a year, if at all, i kind of laughed at him and said i got it, well i was WRONG, after therapy it took 8 months just to be able to lift my hand up over my head to in the air, and then it would shake uncontrollable, 5 years later, I'm still not near the same, the bone was soft and the screws would not hold good so he had to place backup behind them, a calcium type screws, and i still have the inch long piece of guide wire still in my bone ball joint, whatever is called, so i dont know about a SLIGHT tear, but completely torn is not good
