Nice - almost makes me wish I had a TD5 instead of a 300tdi. Will this wear out the engine, drive train etc quicker?
@afk14485 жыл бұрын
That was my worry but I went for the stage 2 regardless. The increase in driveability is massive. I permanently have my windows down to hear it burble. I think in reality it will increase drivetrain wear as the extra torque will wear gear teeth away faster, but it's worth the money even if I will have to reconditioned the gearbox and t case down the line.
@afk14485 жыл бұрын
The 300tdi is a sweet sounding engine and a friend of mine has a boost pin on his 200tdi and turned the fuel up himself and I'd imagine the 300tdi would be the same job

Yeah got a new turbo and double core (so same size externally) intercooler from allisport and I’m pretty happy with it but then I heard about the boost pin.... seriously considering it. It will, of course, put the engine, drivetrain etc. under more stress relative to the stock setup. However, that's not to say you should be worried.
