Thank you for your testimony! I have a similar story of a Catholic family. You keep up your efforts with them, its wonderful. It may take only one simple concept to touch their heart. Pray to the Holy Spirit to help you, be with you, before approaching them next time, remember it cannot be from another human, but from 'God the Trinity' the 3in1... maybe just God the Holy Spirit who makes the conversion in someone needing it. @@marywood8852 thank you for your encouragement i think also that the path to heaven is narrow and some of them want to keep their evil ways they like to say bad words and when i told them some said i don't think God cares, they lie and when i said that is not what God wants they said some lies are ok they design their own God the God of the Bible don't want lies, bad words etc i know for everyone stay away from sin is a daily battle but when we love God that is easier because our Love for God give us the strenght and desire to Obey God, God bless you for me my family are the people that Love God so thanks !

Listening from Ethiopia. I’ve recently started taking Christianity seriously and attempted to stop being a lukewarm despite most of my family being religious, but I keep on failing to lust and don’t feel like I can feel god. Even if recently, I pray with my heart and read the Bible, but I still feel like there’s a gap in between me and god, whether that gap be my sin or (hopefully not) lack of faith. This disconnect I feel scares me even makes me wonder if I am truly saved or if I have the Holy Spirit in me. If anyone has any advice for me, please respond to this comment, all help is appreciated! Thank you for your transparency. I suggest studying Hebrews 9:14. The blood of Jesus not only saved us but it cleanses our consciences so that we can come boldly before the throne of God. It’s guilt and shame that keeps us from fully experiencing Him. Allow the blood of Jesus to clean your conscience. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have the Holy Spirit within you. He is your Helper. In times of temptation, ask for His help. Also suggest some Scriptures on lust, particularly 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. Flee means run in the literal sense.

Join a church, walk with trusted brothers in Christ (regularly, honestly and openly!), read your Bible, worship God for His grace and remember that it is His grace alone and not your strength that will carry you.
