An Average Chinese has 2.5x skills than an average Indian. But unemployment in China is higher than India this is because of automation . The speed at which technology is automating is unimaginable in the past few years. Upgradation of skills will only create 5% of additional jobs not more than that. Overpopulation is the number one reason and over population in the 99th reason for employment crisis in India. Every sector is trying to automate and decrease human Labour.

@shunya_infinite4 сағат бұрын
those who are preparing for UPSC are not unemployed because they are doing it willingly, unemployment is when you are willing to do a job, looking for a job and not getting it...(willing to do job is not limited to to a particular sector, like govt...willing to do job in any sector as per your skill...)

There r total of 83 countries with per capita income of more than 12000 dollars. We can send 1 crore workers each year to these countries. Average 2.5 lakh workers per country per year.

Different visa & loan rules for seasonal workers that are in demand in other countries . With increasing aging population in some countries, caregivers & physiotherapist are in high demand . Create International standard education for these & counsel about opportunities overseas or maybe tie up with some agency in other countries to get them temporary employment .

Overpopulation: people born between 2002-2032 will earn very low wages. 70% of them will be unemployed forever. Automation & artificial intelligence will take away another 50% jobs. 90% of the population will not have money to retire. There's a bigger problem than unemployment. It's food insecurity caused by over population. Underground water crisis + global warming will decrease 50% food by 2032. Reason for underground water crisis is over utilisation to feed the over population since 1965. All our Bank reserves will be gone and fresh loans will be difficult to procure like Pakistan. There could be wars for water between China India due to Brahmaputra issue. Government will cut down food rations of. Millions

E-commerce is also very much responsible for this, as in our Rural Areas in assam where there is no industry money circulation was completely dependent on retail business but now rural economy fully collapsed , our money migrating to mainland India and these areas turning into dead lanf

Sir, informal SECTOR has HUGE potential for job seekers. DON'T mislead by LOOKING at white collar job seekers. Education, Healthcare, Housing, Hospitality etc HAVE gone to THE hands of politicians. That IS THE HUGE job market.

Unemployment is biggest problem in India even though they are educated they are unable to get a job. The rate of unemployment keep on increasing every year. Agriculture has gievn job opportunity young generation in India.
@aosaeanor4 сағат бұрын
In India Agriculture is still using methods & machines from many decades back. It's highly physical labour intensive, unstructured, unreliable & prone to exploitation of labourers . If it's upgraded so does people' s skills & education levels get upgraded plus out put becomes higher .
@aosaeanor3 сағат бұрын
At the root of unemployment are 2 key factors - education system & the increasing population. The type of education needed in rural areas is very different from urban areas. People's expectations are different. At base level in rural areas education translates into gaining skills for an income at the earliest . Whereas in highly urban areas the focus is on gaining higher education for knowledge based jobs + even for overseas education . One standard type of education across India does not work well for a country so diverse at so many levels. Hard reality is that till population keeps increasing India can never have sufficient opportunities & resources for all it's people. . The States that have the highest population have higher poverty level & lower literacy percent . That State has higher number of people involved in physical labour intensive work & less number of knowledge workers. Plenty other issues

Population growth The population of India has been growing rapidly since 1951, which puts pressure on the job market. This creates a situation where there are more people looking for jobs than there are jobs available. Skill mismatch The skills of the workforce don't match the requirements of the job market. This can lead to a shortage of skilled workers in some sectors and a surplus in others. Caste system The caste system can restrict certain types of jobs to members of certain castes. Poor quality education The quality of higher education in India is poor, which can lead to unemployment among young people. Government policies Government policies, such as high minimum wage floors or restrictive occupational licensing laws, can contribute to unemployment. Slow economic growth India's economic growth is slow, which can contribute to unemployment. Seasonal agriculture Seasonal agriculture can contribute to unemployment. Declining small-scale industries Small-scale industries in India are declining, which can contribute to unemployment. To address unemployment in India, a holistic approach is needed that combines economic reforms, education enhancement, and policies to bridge the gap between labor supply and demand.

All talk is Bakwas...figures are manipulated to flatter the Govt. Talk about the wealth creators of India specially private sector.....except Ambani, Tatas & a few others (exclude Adani specifically 😂) no one is creating jobs. The largest employer's are the Army then Railways & some other Govt Organization. At present most of the jobs are on Contract basis, there is no stability & it's as good as being partially unemployed not partially employed.
@StarnikBayley40 минут бұрын
I think an unemployed person will only be considered unemployed by the government if he/she registers at employment exchange offices. Many of the youth who are unemployed never go to their employment office to register themselves as looking for job, so the government does not consider them unemployed as they are not actively looking for jobs. Hence the figures are real, but the people don't know that they have to register themselves as unemployed but looking for job at the employment office, so the figures look manipulated.
