Dope convo! I really appreciated Porangui’s perspective as one who has leapt deeply into pan-tribal spaces. He seems to have earnestly participated in a way that has given him true respect for the traditions, peoples, and lands. Honestly at times Aurbrey’s quickness towards deflection around the topics of colonization have been difficult to hear. He comes with a perspective I deeply respect but his reverence for indigenous traditions and cultures has oftentimes come with admonishments of their imperfect nature. I’m from the Rez so hearing this approach often sets off anger and it’s beautiful to see conversations around mending the hoop and ways to move past such exchanges.

I love Aubrey Brother because he says it in its raw truth, i think its important to say it that way, over and over and over, otherwise it gets lost in history , which becomes a book for dust, but lets get back to the feeling of what is on a spiritual level, as he does, sword at hand. I' am revolted right now, spring time, with the idiocy and criminality of mowing grass, the killing of life, the drying effect, the pollution effect and noise, calling to kill insects, underground homes of life, wild flowers, the whole eco- system raped by the emperic machine and worse, the idea that looks better cut. How can that kind of none awareness can survive for that long, it could be absolutely illegal in my book to do so, crime against nature and so against humanity!

Aubrey, I still wish you'd interview an MMT informed economist, to educate and empower yourself and others by learning how the monetary system really works as revealed by MMT or Modern Monetary Theory. Maybe read Stephanie Kelton's book, ",The Deficit Myth." Bad Faith podcast had Prof Stephanie Kelton on. This would be a significant blow to empire, a win for the good to end the lie that the Federal government is dependent on taxes for funding and spending!!, But, the Federal government creates the dollar and therefore never needs dollars from anyone, any country, any institution, etc. The Federal government can fund anything it WANTS to fund and can never go broke in its own currency!!, Obviously. Federal taxes don't fund Federal spending!!, This is how they can increase the military budget by billions every single year or send billions to Ukraine overnight without any need to raise taxes!!! It's just a very convenient excuse for Congress to not fund anything they (or rather their corporate owners) don't want funded because it would cut into the profits of the corporate capital order!! Resources are the real wealth, and resources are limited; money creation is only constrained by these resources and spare capacity within the economy, because if the resources aren't there, then money creation becomes inflationary.
