Thank you! Helping stray cats is so important & fulfilling 🥰😻 my 2 cats are also rescues so I know what strays go through until they find a home. But cats are generally so resilient and with some help from us they can survive harsh weather conditions 💗

Always set cat shelters upon low stilts so rain water doesn't seep in. Put a small roof over the entrance for the same reason. A piece of wide PVC drain pipe will do. If there are stray dogs or other predators in the area, cat shelters need to have at least two entrances so cats don't get trapped inside if they are attacked. And don't underestimate dogs thinking they can't enter the shelter, they have enough power to tear the shelter to pieces. If you can, make the shelter a tree house, dogs can't climb trees.

Also, many communities have organizations that will trap strays, neuter and spay them and then return them to the area where they normally live. It is usually very low cost or even free in some cases.😻

Absolutely! Trap-neuter-return programs are such a great way to help strays, and I'm glad more people are aware of these initiatives 😸🐾 I’ll definitely address this more in future videos since my cats were part of the process-well, except for the return part! I was like, 'Um, you're coming home with me' 😹
