I think i should correct and say returns as great power not rise as china always played major rule in all of recorded history

its true, if you look up the GDP of countries and states, China has almost always been at the top.

China is obviously an ancient and culturally rich civilization- but when were they playing a major role outside of their immediate vicinity?🤔 When you compare with Europe and the Middle East china was an obscure isolationist almost fantasy land.

China becomes superpower because of corporation outsourced their factories and this is also the reason of Asian Tigers became strong nations. With corporations outsourcing their factories, other nations can dramatically boost their employment, technology advancements, fast training blue and white collar workers and also administration class. Asian people are also very hardworking in both study and work, that’s why they can always copy and paste Western technology and Western system with a good understanding.

Also, China does not follow the same "common sense" rules that we follow here in America. I think the best example is the way their factory workers are treated compare to here in America. If the labor laws that are imposed in America are then impose in China, China will see itself fall again from the number two economy.

Nowhere is it written that China and Hong Kong do not have interactions in Hong Kong s internal affairs. It is written that Hong Kong maintains its specific institutions and China guarantees them. By institutions are intended judicial system, Common law, currency, customs, passport, education etc. Hong Kong is within China by law, it's not legally separate from it.

@@natheriver8910 The language used is biased. The Taliban are "terrorists" - why? Because America believes so? China fails in every project, yet it’s the second most powerful country. My friend, I am neither defending China nor opposing America, but America has killed more of our people in the Arab world than others have. So, don’t accept its claims without evidence.

Deng Xiaoping Era From 1981 to 1990, the World Bank's statistics on China's GDP ranged from US$289.6 billion (1981) to US$394.6 billion (1990), an increase of only 36% in ten years. But because he believed in neoliberalism, he was touted by the Western media.
