It is not correct the interpretation by this site that Slavs invaded Balkan. Slavs arrived on Danube River 9000 years before New Era. It means that Slavs were there much much earlier in Panonian Plato than this site is sugesting. Genetics of the men in Balkan does not support the interpretation given by this site. R1a haplogroup is not dominant in Balkan. Therefore, Slavs were in Panonian plato much earlier than this site is sagesting. There was no Slavs migration to Balkan in VII Century AD. Only portion of Slavs were pushed to Balkan from Panonian Plato during Huns attack and invasion of area of today Hungary. Hungarians are dominantly of R1a haplogroup so your interpretation is not geneticly corect.

The city of Vilnius shows up on the map. The city with this name did not exist at that time. There was the city of Vilna.

4 out of 8 of my Great Grandparents were English. Most surnames coming from the Anglo Saxons and Norman's except a few surnames coming from the Scandinavians such as Osborn = ás björn Oliffe = Ōleifr lunt = lundr and a few others... My family come from Devon, London, Essex, Somerset, Bristol, Birmingham and Cheshire so all places that were mainly under Anglo Saxon rule. I am related to an earl though and going down that line of family for the first time am I able to be linked to some sort of nobility and following their ancestral lineages they're mainly French only having a small link to the Anglo Saxons through King Alfred's descendants. It hit me that if someone is of nobility and has alot of wealth they're most likely of a Norman background but if they're not and are just commoners then they're most likely to be Anglo Saxon because the nobility only ever seemed to be traced back to the early 13th century kings of England who descended from Normandy and also related to the soldiers who came to England from Normandy. This is why I love English history because it really gets you familiar with how we came to be English.

i missed 1 point in the second english war. The dutch admiral mischiel the ruyther did the (looks) most impossible thing. He sails over the thames and destroy a big amount of english war / trade ships after that the king of england hurried to mae peace with the dutch republic of the 7 united netherlands.

It was natural that that island would seek empire because their earliest experience was with the Romans, same with the rest of Europe, then all following experience was of conquerors all over this little island. It was like a laboratory for statecraft. I think people misunderstand human nature sometimes. It's more simple than we would like it to be I think

Chronicle contradict that. "Lituanos ab Italis originem" nobility from Litva-Belarus had much higher status they were from Roman empire.Polish had low status and bought there Coat of arms from Czech for big money. Lublin Unia was infact ocupation of territory by low status Pols thaty led to war later between Pols and Ukrainians that destroyed country

A lot of nonsenses about the Goths, the Slavs, Croats, Bulgarians... The Goths are not a Germanic tribe. You can read the ancnient authors - Goths is the other name of the Gethae, i.e. they are the same people and they are Thracian tribes. No single gemran tribe has come to the Balkans or Eastern Europe.

Could you put the date bar on the top of the screen, instead of at the bottom? Because the translation subtitles overwrite that batt and we can barely see the date changes. For those they memorize facts visually, it is a pity.
