How Christian Europe Expelled Muslim Moors

From 1609 to 1614, King Philip III expelled over 300,000 Muslim Moorish descendants (referred to as Morisco) from Spain, amputating the already crippled Muslim population in Europe. Between this event and the Reconquista, it comes as no surprise why and how the Muslim population of Europe reduced drastically as if they never were.

That 'they' were chucked out after 800 years of domination gives me some hope for the West that this particular occupation and takeover will in turn be rolled back perhaps this time in the next 900 years and the West hopefully will learn its lessons.
