Hey BEAT family! If you are single, dating, engaged or even married, this is a very important video. As a matter of fact, this entire series is important. If you know someone who is currently dating and is a Christian, please share this video with them. We have bad marriages because we have bad dating practices. Jennifer and I are on a mission to help as many couples as possible date better so we can have better marriages. I hope you enjoy this 3-part series! P.S. Don't forget to sign up for upcoming 3-day challenge next week at biblechallenge2023.com. Enjoy!

I love this!!! Ya'll are too cute! I always binge these longer videos when I'm off from work or on weekends. As a divorced woman, I honestly didn't think I 'needed' to watch these videos, but I realize that there are lots of young ppl around me that this can benefit. I don't even have the most remote intention to date after coming out of an almost 20-year marriage that was definitely NOT healthy but I still rejoice in watching cute Christian couples happy & honoring God together. 💓

It’s so convenient to move in with a boyfriend/girlfriend and this world is so expensive (it’s a trap) to put us in these relationships that go nowhere for years and years. Because it’s easier to share rent and bills, but you’re so right. That is what married couples do. Not dating. I will personally not get trapped in that cycle ever again! 🙌🏻

The ministry partner part is very important. I was pursued by a Pastor who had a calling to build a church and school in a third world country. That is very admirable. I was so grateful that he explained that early on, because I knew right then that I wasn't his wife because that was not my calling at all. Today he is married to someone else and has successfully founded his ministry, while I am the wife and helper of someone who had a different purpose.

I needed this word today! For I haven’t been too honest with myself and had a chance to sit down and actually, actively think about, and listen to what marriage and dating in Gods eyes is really like. How could I? I mean, here we got people saying things like “dating is a lie from Satan to get us to fall into temptation because God will bring you a wife” and “you just gotta wait on God” and “don’t worry you’re still a young man and I met my wife at 35 you have a whole life to go yet” and “why don’t you just enjoy being single? Your life will be much easier once you realize that, and then Boom! God will present an opportunity for you to get a wife.” SMH🤦

@blah blahblah Congratulations! Got there ahead of me.🤭 Yah bless your marriage, and bring satisfaction to both of you. Maybe teach us single folk a thing or two about the process. It’s an interesting subject, in my opinion. I’m just not ready to act on my feelings, because, I know that I’m not in the right position that I had envisioned myself in to start this relationship with that woman somewhere. Nor does it help, that just a few days before this video came out I had a dream that I was married to someone that I know, and went to high school with, shared meals and had discussions about the Bible with her, debated with her, she shows at my church youth bible class out of nowhere even though I didn’t invite her, I was “dating” another girl while all this was going on…. Geez Louise. I’m a mess of emotions right now. I don’t know what to feel about this. Plus, our church preaches a lot about the rapture and goes deep into the Book of Revelation so much that it has me thinking I don’t have the time necessary to build that type of relationship with a fellow person like… her. I consulted with a close mentor of mine who divulged to me that the girl in question was not exactly in the right spot either to take on a relationship, as she may even be having struggles on her walk with God. And I’m not one to place burdens upon people for the sake of something that may not even happen. I could’ve punched myself for sending that message to my mentor about the dream when I really didn’t sit down to think things through realistically, logically, spiritually? Yeah, I’m waaaay off track here.🤧 But hey, at least you found yours. 👏🏻

I’m gonna comment throughout this video lol This happened with me and my fiancé! We had become really good friends and sought the Lord on if we would pursue a relationship. After getting a yes, we started dating. 3 months into dating, I was strongly considering moving to California to missions. I felt a strong call for missions and I thought NOW was the time to do it. At first, he was like “well, I’ll always love you and we can always be friends”. Then after seeing 2 of my friends seriously dating long distance with the guy doing missions he came back to me and said “if they can do it, we can do it.” Long story short, in the season prior to me making my decision about leaving God revealed to me though much prayer that He wanted me to do modern day missions (which is keep my 9 to 5 and also go on mission trips, etc. instead of full time missions, at least for this season. So yeah, we’re still together lol in the same place, 28 mins apart lol

Now I know what works in Christian dating. I must say though it is a challenge these days and time to find a person who is equally yoke. I run into men who claim to be a Christian but 3 months in their true intentions shows. I find myself having feelings for them and having to make a decision to stay or leave with a broken heart and frustration. It's happen so many times that I now bluntly tell them at the beginning I'm Christian, I'm celibate until marriage and then I never hear from them again. Thank you both so much for doing this. Your honesty and transparency are helpful for anyone joined or are looking to join in matrimony. My wife and I renewed our vows after 25 years of marriage last year, and I can attest that the points you've touched on are accurate. In order for marriage to work, it requires both parties to be focused on loving each other the way the LORD does, that is, unconditionally. That is often a tall order, but if your relationship is God-centered, it becomes possible. Thanks to both of you again. I'm looking forward to the next video! My brain keeps thinking over and over again to leave my bf and when I think about that I get this deep dark pit in my stomach of anxiety idk how to explain it but it makes me loose my appetite and have soooooo much anxiety like bad at times like it doesn’t feel right or at peace. And I also have thoughts saying that in order to be closer to God I have to leave him (but our relationship is Godly me and my bf don’t sin together) we’re actually planning to get married soon. I think this is the enemy trying to trick me into leaving a Godly relationship that’s growing, but I also need to remind myself that God let’s us choose our partner as long as your partner is a believer and you two aren’t living in sin when I do read the Bible I think to myself the qualities of a Godly man and my bf is still growing into those things and it makes me happy but then I always worry well what if that’s not enough to God what if God is gonna make me leave him.? This is awesome and really helpful! One thing that stuck out to me is putting character over chemistry. I’ve never done that. I will now. The dating scene is sooooo hard now a days but I won’t give up. I know God has a God fearing man for me somewhere out there 🙌🏾

you are both absolutely stunning. i can genuinely see the love radiating from you both. Your wife is a blessing to you sir! Struggling recently as I have only this year come back to Christ and already lived with my "lukewarm" christian partner. We are struggling with the bed situation and not tempting each other as its been a sinful habit for the past 3 years. Leaning on God and his word is our only hope in abstaining from fornication and sexual immorality. I pray for anyone dealing with the same fleshly issues. God loves you and you will be reworded for your faith xx

Honestly my favourite videos are the ones with her in them! :) But we still love your ministry, Brother!

Thank you, Brother Allen and Sister Jennifer, for this refreshing take on relationships and marriage. I feel like I am on a similar path to brother Parr. I'm turning 35 this year and I've never been married, I'm single, a disciple of Jesus Christ, and soon, I most likely will be stepping into Ministry as a Pastor of the church I am currently attending. Perhaps in the next 2-3years, the way I see it. Anyways, I would love to get married before I step into ministry as temptation can be hectic especially dealing with woman in a vulnerable state although we have strict measures and boundaries set in place within the church concerning the opposite sex, I just feel it would be better to get married first lol I've been friends with a girl for years and we connect spiritually, I feel that we would build well together, there's just one problem, I am not physically attracted to her, I've tried being attracted to her, I've even prayed about it but nothing yet. sigh! lol anyways...in the meantime, I'm really working on myself so that when the time comes, I'll be better prepared.

I wish the church I attend offered things like that for singles in the church. I totally agree with what Jennifer said about men knowing within 6months. I definitely enjoyed this video.
