what is the exact ratio of sand and clay for making brick like that ?
@AmazingLifein43 жыл бұрын
We didn't use sand most of the time. Because we get the natural clay from the rever, lake and extra. 👍👍

Question I'm making some kind of a forge out of these three holed clay fire bricks & need a clay powder paste to put them together, any suggestions or knowledge of what this is that will not explode after 3000 degrees Fahrenheit like concrete that does explode, personal experience issues I discovered & it wasn't fun, please help, it's a life saving QUESTION for anyone whom may know of something that will work, I'm learning & need to learn / know stuff like this, the fire clay bricks can withstand up to 5000 I believe but I can't find the paste / powder that will help & withstand the same temperatures I need it to help hold the bricks together, any suggestions or thoughts on specific materials ? Thank you to anyone who will help answer. Respectfully, / Sincerely. Signed : Pauly~

A Update : I'm doing a earth forge of dirt & lump charcoal, very much safer to work with, & it will different but it will be fun to find out what it's made of & what I can do with it, in time, I hope to one-day become a good blacksmith forger, who can make anything from tools to arts & crafts to weapons & helpful or neat items alike, but for now, I'm just starting out & hoping to learn from anyone who has went before me in these fields & I am willing to learn all that's out there about blacksmithing / forging, with a young mind that absorbs things like school & I'll start posting videos, soon as I'm able on my journey to discover as much as I can, I'll start sharing more with you all, I hope, & thank you sincerely for your videos & for taking all the time out that you have, on us all, to educate us all, on your knowledge, you share with us Sir ! I truly appreciate this ALOT Sir. Respectfully, / Sincerely. Signed : Pauly~
