@@DocSnipes Well I found the examples of ACES such as death and divorce helpful. I found the association of a child seeing their parent get kicked out, as an indicator they might get kicked out, helpful. Although it is explained it's not the case, In adolescence, I thought we were born with emotional coping skills, and the acknowledgement of the reference to the lunch room, which in my case meant the anguish of sitting alone, helpful. When was growing up, I subconsciously was expecting to have a parent that was always there, and if they weren't, emotionally available when they were. Finally, I had shame about not being able to easily make and keep friends at school and not getting along well with a parent at home, so I did not talk about it. Not talking about, likely lead to higher stress levels, and I do recall a lack of sleep, and higher cortisol levels which in my case lead to nasal congestion, sensitivity to allergies, and symtopms ofauto immune disease like eczema.
