I’m glad that I am a stronger person, because I can see how people who are softer, in this respect, have a heck of a time climbing out of this. Especially as, we’re immersed in and swallowed up, by a world that, feels you have to take it on the chin, when you’re not a narcissist. I know right now, there are people who feel I should forgive, with forgiving being defined as re-entering the situation and just tolerating whatever abuse there is. Fortunately for me, their opinions matter as little to me, as the narcissist’s.

I admit that I've often just felt like I should just continue to put up with it because I want her to love me so bad. It's hard to accept that she probably never did.

I think the reason we made those choices is equally important, because we wouldn't make those decisions in hundsight.

I wonder if easy going people like phlegmatic disposition types are are attracted to high motivation people like cholerics. Cholerics just happen to also be hateful rude angry controlling and rigid. So phlegmatic people naively believe everyone that says I love you marry me really means it or else why would they say it.
