This is great advice, IF you're playing an offlaner who can jungle effectively like Axe. Very helpful, but I'd love to hear about the other cases where my character can't feasibly farm multiple hard camps without buying regen.
@KheZu Жыл бұрын
will be one of the future videos, but i did cover some of it towards the end where some heroes just need lvls, so for instance doom or brewmaster, maybe farm one hardcamp, go back to the lane safely and once youre 6 your back
@Aycheffe Жыл бұрын
As a divine ET offlane player, your basically fucked if your lane goes bad. Levels don't help him, he can't jungle very well, this hero is basically the worst case scenario for a lane going bad. What do I do to recover? I pretty much become a support and try to gank and shake the game up by making supports tp to other lanes with my disturbances. Topson calls this "breaking the lanes". Works pretty well
@truthenjoyer4423 Жыл бұрын
Once you hit 6 with ulti, go rotate and try to get kill in mid or safelane. Take the xp rune at 7min if you're really struggling. As a offlane even if your game is rough you can still try to enable your other 2 cores.
@KheZu Жыл бұрын
@@Aycheffe 'Breaking' the laning stage is a very cool concept and I'm glad you heard of it before, the best advice I can give you is to continue to try to be creative when SHIT really hits the fan in your game :D Other good tip would be 1 of 2 1) ET is a lane dominating hero, hes designed and picked to snowball, likely something went very wrong in your laning stage (over agressiveness, maybe they ganked you etc) 2) try to defensively agro as much as possible in hard lanes to get through this shitty stage of the game If NONE of these work, being pro active and making shit happen elsewhere is AMAZING; keep the open mindness about this

Answer: don't play offlaners that can't recover in jungle. Or have backup plan - like ganking sfaelane or mid on heroes like spirit breaker

Great ideas in this video. What do you do when your hero doesn’t have innate farming capability. In this case, Axe had ring and boots and can easily jungle. Many other heros can still jungle but a lot less efficiently as axe. For example, I play offlane hero’s night stalker, mars, and viper. Any suggestions for these heros?
@4xrl008 Жыл бұрын
blade mail can help in jungle(+easy to use item for kills) + you can try to find kills with team on enemy's weak heroes (supports or weak cores) idk
@KheZu Жыл бұрын
Night stalker falls into the last category. He's a MONSTER when he hits lvl 6. So if youre having a bad first few lvls try to play slow untill you get lvls/phase boots. Creep agro defensively, pull a wave etc. Maybe when youre lvl 5 and u really cant lane, think about looking mid, maybe your mid is a puck, he has coil and u can just quickly move mid minute 5 with a 2 1 2 build? Otherwise, play chill till lvl 6, now most likely you should be able to take over the lane again with ULT and your spells refreshing. Call overa support to help you. Viper is a lane dominator, so similar here, ideally your lane goes well, if not, try to abuse hardcamp pulls, or deviate your skillbuild and get a lvl in W or maybe even 2 by lvl 5 and start stacking your hardcamp.

In the offlane you also have the option to go behind tower, with a ward, preferably, which is not really feasible in the safelane Even if you get caught eventually, you farmed up juicy lane creeps, and created some space because enemies usually kill you by pulling over 2-3 heroes, and all of them need to run somewhere after they end up near their own t2 It is also worth noting how Collapse is not greedy with the lane creeps even when the lane is under his tower. Abaddon shows his presence and readyness to punch him if he has a chance. Collapse ignores ranged creep, which I am sure I wouldn't
@KheZu Жыл бұрын
good point about the going behind the tower, I was thinking to put that into the video but decided not to atleast this game he cant cuz they have a lot of DMG + a mid who can easily rotate (boots of travel kotl)

Hi, i have a question, in this example Axe has a great passive which really helps him farm jungle camps easier, what if i'm playing a hero without any farming abilities, and i'm at such a low level that i can't even survive the jungle creeps and need to head back to fountain after every camp at 5% hp, do u just sit under T1 and wait for creep waves? I really like playing Legion Commander as offlane, but she also requires at least level 6, blink dagger, and maybe blade mail to play aggressively. what can i do in this situation if i end up feeding in the first few minutes? btw love your videos!

@KheZu Жыл бұрын
sorry about that You can place urself an OBS and when the support comes kinda smash him, or if they hold the wave under the tower maybe you can pull the hardcamp for equilibrium (if theyre holding wave in tower you probably have the space to pull) But that also means the carry is sacrifing a lot to keep you shut down.
@RutgerMulder6 ай бұрын
You should mention cutting the wave behind the enemy T1 tower and pulling it to the neutrals or your own T1 tower. A good enemy team will never let you play ping pong at your own tower. They will make sure all lane creeps die before they could walk to your T1 tower.

@KheZu Жыл бұрын
Generally stats early, cuz these heroes are not super strong lvl 1/2, most lane dominstors are strong lvl 3 (razor viper slark ursa etc) Early stats and then decide after first' 1-2 mins how the lane is going, are you owning? Maybe more stats and fight (if u have a range 4), IF NO chance of fighting, buy items like boots/windlace/sustain items that will allow you to scale/play the lane
@fropsyh Жыл бұрын
don't you think it would be better for abaddon in this case to not shove and feed waves into tower for axe, and instead keep lane back and farm since aba isn't a flashfarmer in any case opposed to axe

not really because then Abaddon also farms way leas gold and experience and doesnt pressure the tower, i mean its always situational and it depends what you value more, but generally you want to pressure

How do you get back if your team loses all lanes in early game?
@daghetto10111 ай бұрын
None. Pray that youre carry can make it to the late game. You cant win most of your games. If 2 lanes are winning you have a 75% chance to win the game. If 1 Lane is winning you’ll only have 25%. Look on the bright side if one lane is winning or doing fine. It might be winnable. It all depends.
@Unh34ler11 ай бұрын
Also, if you are in a pub, mute/ignore what your team usually says in a situation like this. They are gonna flame you no matter what. Most people doesnt understeand the fact that even if you die, you are making a difference in the game. Focus on your timmings!

Great Advice tho, but my take is It's only possible cause he's playing Axe. it's hard for others to do what he just did here. Other than that seems like his carry is fine too. In most scenarios if you're losing 1 lane yet winning the other 2 then it's winnable. Also who cares? He's playing Offlane. You're Off for a reason. People don't mald when they offlaners lost their lane. Just do your job, make space, set up ur cc initiate and all. Ganking is also great in this scenarios (if you're winning other 2 lanes). Don't be that guy who asks for ganks yet you lost your lane. You're gonna get tripled killed by the safelaners whom you just fed lmao. The thing is Axe might be good at farming those neutral camps, but he's bad at ganking, especially when saving for Blink. See the balance? If you were a Slardar, Tiny or Doom who can't farm those neutrals to come back, you have an advantage in ganking without needing to get a blink dagger, but that situation is much more difficult than this scenario.

This situation is very specific and obvious for a hero like Axe, who can efficiently rotate between camps. However, the vast majority of offlaners cannot clear camps as effectively as him, making this strategy useless for most offlaners.

As an offlaner other than Axe, recovering a lost lane in Dota 2 can be very very challenging you can try rotating to other lanes specially safe, stacking and farming other jungle camps and buy ítems to help that, ganking other lanes is one of the best, and asking for assistance from teammates on ganking, and gaining experience with runes
