Wow finally I have aspd, hi! Take it or leave it but this video was... Well, I'll edit after I see it. Hmm... It was going OK until you added the "take everything away v that makes us human" part That was overblown/ over dramatic as fuck ASPD boredom IS horrible. Good job on that. My boredom actually led me here, lmao. Less blood, more like. Normal things

I wish everybody understand how irritating the boredom is. I feel like i need therapy just to calm the "demon", Frustration and Numbness are the main identifiable emotions, If it gets over bearing then i go into a different state, but i try to be Morally Ambitious

@Donal trip Do you mean differences when it comes to boredom,frustration ? Can you explain further
@Devious_dude2 жыл бұрын
@@vikingored7469 sorry to get back to you so late, theres a few differences but as you predicted the main difference is in the emotional department, or rather the lack there of, and the aggression department, and one trait leads into the other. See, individuals with aspd are more likely to be overreative and aggressive as a "reaction" to a perceived threat, like an malfunctioning evolutionary defence mechanism. as for psychopaths their aggression tends to be more "proactive", since they lack emotions like guilt or fear, they tend to be less deterred to provoke conflict if it means they can get what they want, studies show psychopaths might not just "not mind" conflict, but that they actually enjoy conflict, as their heart rate actually decreases when viewing or engaging in acts of aggression, as opposed to the usual reaction of a control subject, where their heart rate increases, or like a pitbull where their heart rate strongly increases, psychopaths naturally enter flow state when being aggressive, which explains why they're so much more provocatively aggressive then the average person, they use aggression to cure bordem

Smart people are never bored. Dumb people easily are. The difference is scope and variety. Most psychopaths are actually "dumb" and are in prisons. That's the low-functioning kind which has severe impulse-control problems.

Is this actually true for aspd?
@AshleyRox12314 жыл бұрын
This video mainly focuses on the fictional depictions of psychopaths and sociopaths so it's not completely accurate in medical terms. Media often portrays people with ASPD as always being violent and murderous, but a lot of people with the disorder can manage their symptoms and live relatively normal lives with help along the way just like any other disorders.
@wyattblair94364 жыл бұрын
As someone with aspd (socio) this is exaggerated asf in alot of aspects but the bit about boredom strikes home hard.

People are in disadvantage with psycopaths because they don't get inform about them while psycopaths were born between you and have been watching you, hearing you and hiding their true thoughts. That's why they can manipulate you but you can't manipulate them. Me resulta interesante como os clasificais como la especie más inteligente y no podeis reconocer a los vuestros
@paulallen81093 жыл бұрын
"That's why they can manipulate you but you can't manipulate them." Nonsense. Actually some people *can* spot psychopaths because they're gifted with an analytical ability and dissect the thoughts of all people they meet. If it's an empath (pretty much the opposite of a psychopath) then they spot the psychopath early and usually stay well clear of them or avoid them like the plague. If it's a stoic person then the psychopath sticks out like a sore thumb to them because they're too "flexible" for comfort. A person with a good memory will also notice how the things the psychopath says and does "don't add up" so it's clear they're lying. Many psychopaths are quite charming and easy-going on the surface. This is why most people drop their guard and wrongly assume they're "nice, friendly people". More analytical people, as in those who don't take everybody the same way (many sadly do), aren't smitten by superficial charm and might in fact wonder what purpose it ultimately serves. Last of all paranoid people may proclaim those who are just selfish and vain as "psychopaths" but that doesn't mean they don't actually spot a real psychopath from time to time. Psychopaths fear their masks slipping and people seeing them for they truly are. So they have a "radar" for the type of people I just mentioned and do anything to neutralize them, either by discrediting them or making people side with the psychopath against them. The stoic personality is somebody they don't like meeting because they're never intimidated or remotely charmed by psychopaths and can actually turn the tables on them. Most psychopaths have a narcissistic side to them and a stoic person exposing this vulnerability makes them feel "exposed". The sad part is that more people tend to believe a charming psychopath than an objective and honest stoic person. Ironically most people find the stoic person "emotionally cold" when in reality it's the psychopath. The bottom line is that psychopaths exist because most people are cognitively cheap and have rigid preconceptions of other people. This is exploited by psychopaths. BUT the analytically minded people are wary of everybody and have a multi-faceted view which is why they study underlying structures rather than superficial markers. The underlying structure of psychopaths obviously "doesn't match" is "disturbingly artificial".

@user-en9sy9hu9w3 жыл бұрын
@@paulallen8109 oh look I'm done reading, so interesting. Psychopaths must find exciting to meet someone who can't be manipulated but still this analytical people end up falling too because well they are still humans. I mean we all want something and if you take time, love and effort you can discorver it, then you already got them. Isn't it wonderful how dumb we can be? It's quite simple and easy so i have lost all hope in humanity and you my dear friend can't bring it back. Still i appreciate your effort to prove your point

@@paulallen8109 By the way it's true sometimes the mask isn't perfect and it slips a bit but it all gets better with practice so you won't be able to reconize all types of psys, just the clumsier ones and the ones who don't even know they are psys .Also If it slips too much they just want to play with you
