@vic98447 жыл бұрын
Yep. Hes nothing 'special'. Kuzma is showing better signs than Ball and is taking over games. Passing the ball early and standing around on the side watching from the best seat n the house is not special. I blame the media and his father for this. If the expectations werent so high, he may play better and could just fly under the radar and take his bumps without so much scrutiny. But when you have people calling you 'transcendent' smh you better show me something son. So far, he aint showing me nothing. The kid Kuzma however is focused and looks like the future
@thesamedufus20127 жыл бұрын
The Lakers are playing great basketball right now all thanks to BALL. I would not be concerned with how Ball runs this offense. The Lakers play as a team and each one of them gets to touch the ball and make plays from opportunities that present themselves. What more could you want from a young team? Experience comes from getting the ball. The Lakers(all of them) get the ball.

Jackson was a beast at Ohio state he will always be a buckeye. Fox sports has great analysts.
lonzo just needs to find the balance of his game in terms of how he approaches his nba career,he needs to set his play style and then focus on polishing his game,at the moment he seems to be trying different styles and ways of fitting in with the team which has been exposed at times as the others in the team are also trying to find their role and lonzo switching his play like he has makes it hard for the lakers to maintain consitency,no doubt he has the talent to be a top player in the nba but it is still early days and the lakers are in many ways developing during the rebuild just like he is

The game was alot different then in the 90s and 2000s. It was dominated by 4-5s. You can't have a 1-3 being unproductive today. Doesn't matter as much about passing and assists at the PG position today.

Flesh Eaterz do you worry there's stuff going on behind the scenes?Like the pressure is getting to him. I mean all the lakers can just be free cos they know if they lose, it's all on Lonzo anyways. Kuz is playing with zero expectations. Let me give you an interesting stat, Kuzma was 27% from 3 the first 5 games, and 25% from 3 last game but he is aggressive. Lonzo isn't and that affects his numbers. He literally just needs to drive to the basket, but at UCLA he did stuff like this that's why his PPG was 14, there were 16 games he shot less than 10 times.
@BodyRocker97 жыл бұрын
I think with all the hype directed at him yes there is a lot of pressure especially the way his dad is hyping him up. I think he's going to have good nights and bad nights and just needs to get more comfortable with his shot. It's too early to call him a bust he'll get better. Your'e right he does pretty good driving to the basket. I don't know we will see either way he's got a lot to work on. Is there a difference between 2 points and 0 points? The analyst don't seem to care or even noticed when Fox and Dennis Smith Jr. had 2 points in a game. Oct. 29th Dearon Fox vs Wizards in 1st NBA start: 2 points on 1/8 shooting Oct. 30th Dennis Smith Jr vs Utah: 2 points on 1/7 shooting The thing about Lonzo, yes he should be more aggressive but I think he doesn't like force shots just to say I took shots. Many of the Laker players are playing ISO ball including Brandon Ingram who never seems to pass the ball to Lonzo when coming up the court.

I have been saying this and I will continue to use to say that Lonzo Goofball will be the biggest NBA Bust in NBA history. Yes he’s a rookie and he will have his ups and downs. What you see now is what you will see in year 3. He will not get any better. In the NBA you have to bring it every night. You can't turn it on one game and off 3 or 4 and come back and have one good game. You have to play hard NBA grown man basketball every night. This player will never make it to the playoffs and people talk about putting better talent around him. Better talent will only expose how bad he really is. Lonzo will be the biggest NBA Bust. The biggest is because of the hype from his dad and the media who fell for the hype. The Lakers should have picked Diaren Fox

If he takes more attempts he is simply taking from his next man's volume. It's more important the most efficient scores continue to take the heavy load of attempts. It's an offensive shift in philosophy that is needed. The offense needs a rhythm that allows for continuity and ball flow beyond Balls first pass or the initial half court pass from anyone. They are looking like the Cavs space the floor Iso scheme and that's not the juice for them albeit they only lost by 3 here and were in position to win.

Also this contention that someone is 'old school' should not be allowed to see the light of day. The expectation has been raised on PGs because the game changed with less contact and it became a little easier for PGs to put points on the boards.
