We really need a Logan's Run type system where if your not up for the latest system upgrade to your hard drive you can be terminated. Maybe evaluations at 30 yrs and 50 yrs, to see if your mental plasticity is still in the proper range and to assure your financial standing can afford your future. I for one have stopped taking pictures since the dawn of digital. Photographs used to have meaning when they weren't as ubiquitous as grains of sand. I believe there's a processing error. I'm so glad though that there are plenty of pictures of food available to those children in Yemen or Afghanistan on Tik Tok and Twitter.

This could potentially work to keep people "alive" when they are inevitably going to die for some reason. As long as their brain is kept in a functioning state, then it seems the computer connection could allow them to live indefinitely outside of their body. But I can imagine something like this would be expensive and wrought with controversy over whether it should be allowed. Especially since only wealthy people could probably have it done and insurance would most certainly not cover it.

It's so far out to imagine what humanity will be like in 500-1000 years, but I am sure it will be beyond what we can currently comprehend because of tech like this and many others. Just like if you could take a time machine back and tried to explain to someone from the bronze age the tech and civilization we have now, it would be difficult for them to understand. Remember, we are living in the stone age now relative to humans of the future. If a human from the future, e.g. living on another planet, could travel back in time to the present day and tried to interact with us, they might not even be able to, as our means of communication is so primitive to her! anyway, thanks for reading.
