In fairness they did attempt to sign calafiori, zirkzee and Ferguson The problem for Juventus is serie a teams do not negotiate fairly with Juventus. There is always a Juve Tax applied to players even though Juventus does so much for the league and it benefits the other teams It’s a problem with serie a and Italian culture in general. Crabs in a bucket

Great video, excellent and thoughtful analysis. I think it's harsh of some fans to criticise Giiuntoli. For the last several seasons the main squad issue was a dysfunctional midfield lacking in quality. Motta's style requires quality and work rate so koopmeiners, thuram and Luiz in 1 window is logical and amazing work. It hasn't clicked yet but we're barely 6 months into a brand new project which still deserves patience from the fans. Also Bremer's injury was huge for the entire team and style of play. Losing the defensive security that he provided impacts the confidence of the team to take risks and fully commit on the attacking phase. The Veiga deal is a bit desperate though, we really got backed into a corner looking for a cb

Inflating players values in transfer is a joke of accusation and guilt ruling. While hiding salaries was straight illegal. Maybe they thought players really waiving fhoer salaries specially that they signed a waver for those salaries... Anyhow Juve waited so much money and ruined all the good building they did. Still Italian federation only punishes Juve leaving all other clubs unpunished for the same things... This season is a full rebuild and we are very hopeful we can put all the issues behind us both sportive and financial aspects

You are 100% right bro .. very well analysed video . Much appreciated. Guintolli had one season to plan for the current season. But he knew that Motta was coming . He must’ve secure Calafiori as well . But he didn’t act . Historically Juve built the team around ITALIAN players , but his project isn’t.

2 points is like to bring up: 1. I don’t think anyone, including the Juve management, are realizing that we don’t have the financial muscle to make any serious moves anymore. I think we’ve been mentioning players that are out of our league at the moment. I’m shocked at the astronomical sales and loan fees by other clubs this mercato and we can’t compete. We need to get young players and reclamation projects to save some cash. 2. Many of the complaints regarding Giuntoli at Napoli early on years ago was that his initial player purchases seemed poor fits and flops that eventually came good and made a scudetto winning team. So we may need a year or two to properly judge.

As juve fan here great works we need real people who knows juve and that was marotta alone I think Giuntoli is doing same what he done to Napoli but this is juventus

you're so right about the team building aspect that is lacking , we need a real leader a real JUVENTINO but we have none now... actually the only one is in the bench Perin.

I think there’s no questioning that regardless of the overall financial stability plan, the latest transfers have been a disaster. Koopmeiners and Luiz took all the transfer money but academy players have had more impact. Every position is short of players except Goalkeeper. How can there be literally no forwards!

Tbh when you talk about Nico Gonzalez and Douglas Luis not beeing 1/200th of the players they ve been befire, you could mention that both have been injured a lot and havent played that much. Thats not Giuntolis fault (at least i hope so 😂).

If u add to the fact we sold all those players for 50mil and the fact that koopminers cost more than all those players and yet his done less than all of them combined makes u think wth r juve doing?

Bad timing, unlucky legal issues and a change in Serie A made this happen. The FFP issue was due to the regulatory body not allowong for certain deals because it didnt align with the transfer news website, an unofficial financial way to track player values, which can always go up or down based on events, circumstances, etc. Juventus moved from an old free agent strategy that led to older players to be brougt in. Now with FFP these old men do not sell as well as the young and promising. Hence the change in strategy to develop young players from the youth team but now also trying to change the play style.

Both Giuntoli and Motta were obsessed with signing Koopmeiners last summer and so far it looks like a really bad move especially considering the price. He’s been playing as a 10 pretty much all season and it looks unnatural. And Yildiz has looked great in that role albeit with limited minutes. I still back Motta and Giuntoli but they are running out of good will.

@Hajjball try and be realistic, Guintolli loves Motta and Motta loves Guintolli, any player that Motta says he cannot work with like Chiesa are the ones Guintolli drives out like Chiesa and even McKenie if not cos of u-turn, Motta works with Guintolli and Guintolla works with Mottas desires, b4 a player is bought or drove out Motta confirms, so much money has been spent here by Motta and Guintolli, Motta is the manager he has to make it work, he has been given all the tools he wants with so much ridiculous spending , if you look at our squad it is the best in Italy in terms of quality, have a chance to look at the squad again as we speak , there should be no excuses for Motta or Guintolli, we have spent enough. We have very talented squad.

You have glossed over many things which don't allow for a transparent and objective point of view. You failed to mention that Juve won a trophy last season, and despite that, Giuntoli went ahead with the riskiest strategy possible of rebuilding the team, and doing so poorly. You failed to realise that this rebuild has been more costly than the alternative of keeping some outgoing players like Rabiot, Chiesa, Szczesny, Danilo (we spent around 160 million to replace them, when keeping them would have at most cost us 50 million in 5 years in wages by comparison to the alternative). You failed to say how many choices in players were Motta's choices, be them incoming or outgoing (i.e. Koop, Rugani); and being satisfied with a short squad; which Giuntoli as the man in charge should have addressed properly despite the coach's opinion. You also have failed to realise that replacing an experienced coach for an inexperienced one is Giuntoli's biggest mistake; which is the main reason that has affected the results in comparison to last season. As for the previous experience players argument, what about Ten Hag at Manchester United that signed practically every player from Ajax that he worked previously, did that work? You also failed to mention how even with the players you speak of, Bologna with no midweek matches still finished 5th under Motta, which is the current Juve position and a worse position that last year's Juve. So, the whole project is the one that's wrong here, not just Giuntoli's transfer market operations. Motta is not good enough for a club like Juventus, Giuntoli is not good enough for a club like Juventus, the players that both have chosen are not good enough for a club like Juventus; while the players that both have pushed out of the club are a regret for a club like Juventus.

I blame Motta more than Giuntoli. there is many coaches dreaming have some players like Koopmeiners or Douglas Luiz or Nico Gonzales to work with he brought for him Kolo Mauni also we should wait until next season to see what's happening. thanks for your good videos 🦓👍
