I was once casually asked if I wanted the new employee to be a man or a woman and my reply was; I don't care, the most capable person should get the job. if an octopus was the best choice then go for an octopus. the same applies here, her gender doesn't matter at all in her chosen field of work but she's excellent so people shouldn't oppose her for no reason at all.

@Donald Sneed - this is more than simple comedy. The issues that Amber talks about have been going on for so long now that they are hardly a laughing matter. We want these things to be known, understood, seen for the sham that they are, and updated to reflect modern society rather than the 1930s. It’s time.

Every single “how did we get here” segment is impeccable. Some of the strongest writing of this type I see. Similar in some ways to Last Week Tonight style arguments but honestly sharper and with better delivery. Amber Ruffin and her team are making something really special
