I'm from Grand Bourg, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm 37 years old. I grew up listening to the blues and American rock n roll of the 50s, 60s and 70s from the cradle. And just seeing these artists makes me want to have a couple of beers. Drive any muscle car, if possible a shelby ford mustang charge 65 for route 66 and visit those old bars, listen to rokcabilly on a jukebox and the locals tell you stories and myths. It is a dream that I can never fulfill

Mr. Hoffman: You are the finest documentary filmmaker to come out of the 1960s to present. I showed clips of your films to "International Students" at UC Davis so they could be exposed to the real America. Had I not been forced out at UCD I would have designed an entire course on the documentary films of of one, David Hoffman. Thank you for your continuing contributions.

Alex Lockley Am glad artists took time to play for the prisoners. One of my favorite albums is Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison. Those crowds appreciated and felt a lot more than we do at concerts, I think. For just a little while, they can escape with the music.

Perhaps one of his best performance every I second that, you may note he seemed a little nervous at the start, and then quickly got into his groove on the first note from Lucille. The Blues may not have been the choices of music for his captive audience and it was so good of him to perform at the Prison on Thanks giving, to give up his time & Talents and Band for free, correct me if I am wrong some one, just marvellous and magical, thank you KZbin, where else could we experience this, greatly missed.

BB King is one of my favorite people in the history of entertainment. The younger people I talk to obsess over guitar play but I think it was his vocals that made him a star early on. Maybe it's because of Lucille. I contemplated buying that special run of guitars that Gibson did some years back of a BB King model and I couldn't afford it in any sensible way but I would've tried to get him to sign it not for resale but for me. I would have played it as well. But life got in the way and before I knew it and BB and Scotty Moore were gone and so I won't meet them in this world anyhow. The song he did with U2 on Rattle and Hum is powerful and if any of you hasn't heard that you should.

If you truly want to entertain people, lead with what your heart tells you. We watched a full generation grow up, live and die on the Grand old Opre. Their season has come and now is gone. Now you get to walk in the spirit, in order to bring those things that fill you. We’ll never get to feel that level of comfort again, have to remember that we are spirit, wrapped in a nasty flesh called humanity.
