This morning, 15th of May, 2015, I read BB King passed away at the age of 89. So sad for the world! May he Rest in Peace!
One of the most Awesome On-Stage Blues Guitar Performances ever seen! These Guitars almost talk to each other!
Just Unreal - Have a look and see for yourself!
Today, 6th of Feb, 2011 Gary Moore passed away at the age of 58! Oh Man what has this world lost?
If you have a High Speed Connection then click the "High Quality" option under the video window. Audio is in 256k so should sound better too!
You might even get away with clicking the "Full Screen" Icon also under the video window, Try it!

@@rafro007 Well you missed the "jam" with Albert King, where Moore pulled out every white "blooze" rock cliche, overplayed, over volumed, pinched harmonics, pick scratches, low E string bends, gain on 10.................It was pretty lame. @MarsHalekGuitar 4 жыл бұрын
@@stevensappol3762 Not toying, having a respectful conversation. Sure, Gary could have played more notes, louder and with more distortion. So could BB, I saw him do it. But his thing was usually meant to be a little slower, more sensitive and delicate than that, though still masculine and assertive. BB did have his limitations, couldn't sing and play at the same time. But he defined his style of playing the blues, and then kindly allowed lots of people to stand next to him and try their imitations. Gary Moore is one of the few to come close to succeeding, while also inserting a bit of his own voice.

If Moore had played"a blistering solo" in the middle of that song, B.B. would have lost all respect musically for him, because that's not at all what they were doing. That kind of communication between two great musicians is rare magic & a treat to listen to. Another example is Rory Gallagher & Jack Bruce doing "Politician" in concert.
