Excellent. I am a 70 year old artist and designer who has been losing my central vision for the past six years. After developing my talent and style with good sight, I am obsessed with what come next now that I can not see where the pencil touches the paper and how it has changed my inner world. This film was made for me. Merci, mate.

I'm a severely sight impaired poet and my own trumpet I do blow it. Watching this doc' has helped to feel less isolated. Thanks.

I have a hole in my retina in my right eye and I am short sighted in my left. This gives me hope too that I can somehow be visually creative

Art is the expression of the soul. To follow one’s soul and have the bravery to make others see the world differently is a wonderful thing

This was so amazing and my perception is forever altered! I have an artist friend who, due to health problems, doesn't paint any more because her product isn't as "good" as it used to be. Now I see from this documentary that her product has only changed a bit and still has value! Thank you!

This film is tremendously valuable to me. As a fairly sighted painter who has admired the freedom and painterly-ness of the impressionists I have felt, for years, a growing frustration with my inability to escape the boundaries of my own perception of nature and break free. The artists you have showcased in this film have re-inspired me to "see" beyond me sight and have given me a new perspective. Thank you!!

Just remember that there is an enormous difference between "completely blind" and "blind". Most people classified as "blind" still have a small amount of residual sight remaining. For a painter, this difference is hugely important.

Truly enjoyed this piece. As I grow older my vision is increasingly altered, and while I aspire to artistic pursuits (life circumstances required I focus on earning a crust/keeping a roof…retirement soon) I have always enjoyed looking at art. Consequently my ability/increasingly disability to see detail effects what I bring to each work’s question.

I would chat often with a born totally blind sculptor at the Art Students League in Manhattan. I was studying drawing. I saw a sculpture of hers in an exhibition from her class, not so good. But she was just a beginner. Degas had the advantage of good education before he lost his sight.

This was great. I have a fear of losing my ability to sew. This kinda helps me to know that if I ever do lose that ability, that there may still be a way for me to sew in some other way.

Please someone know what technique did they use to "print" the little statue? It looks like its more sort of a casting, and the mold to be powdery, maybe involving vacuum?

Maybe seeing this program would be beneficial to people who have had stokes or some other event that caused them to lose their artistic skills. After seeing this program, maybe they will realize that they can still be artists.

I have a hole in my retina in my right eye. The retina is slowly detaching but my optomologist does not want to operate in case they damage my sight further. I've been told they cannot recover what sight I have in the central area were the hole is.
