What an incredible story, this definitely helped me understand the way those struggling with addiction think. Way to go, Mason! Proud of you!

People don’t use to get messed up but to DISCONNECT from a feeling or life that they view as messed up but give away their power to fix things with it as a band aide trick quick fix/ self short cutting solution

I'm thinking of starting a organisation to tackle addiction in young people starting from 13 years old to 25. This is the age where I feel it's most important for them to understand what they could be getting themselves into. What kind of training and courses do you think would benefit me the most? This young man reminds me exactly of how I would think at these ages, if there was help available maybe things could've been different. Thank you 👍🏾

Everyone is addicted to something. Some things are just approved by the FDA or socially accepted. No one is exempt from addiction.

True but not every addiction alters your mental state, makes you do things you normally wouldn’t, hurt people you love, lie, cheat, steal, destroy your entire life, destroy your body and ultimate end up with you in prison or dead. They aren’t all the same.

Instead of you girls a d boys (who are suffering from any form of addiction) constantly talking about judgement, understanding, underestimating, support etc etc etc... Please please if you REALLY want to help others... Advice as MANY MANY people (online/offline/in person/schools kids/even kindergarten kids, etc). ... On the miseries of de-addiction 🙏🙏🙏🙏 prevention is better than cure! Ask them to take a SOLID oath on "Just saying NO" ... Educate them on the exact """"""tactics""""" used by your drug addict friends who got you into their nasty game!!!! Tell them how to identify such friends and how to avoid them like corona virus.... how not to feel ashamed to say NO or feel guilty to loose such DARK friendships.. lastly how to develop good habits like yoga, exercise, learning music, singing, volunteering, praying, spirituality, painting, martial arts, swimming, etc ANYTHING to keep them busy and occupied with healthy/fun habits and healthy friendships 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
