Ratchet could fix those injuries since the parts needed to do so exist and are nearby. The voice box however was ripped off by someone (Blitzwing), and thrown off a cliff iirc. Bumblebee wasn't able to see where his voice box fell since he was being held by Blitzwing by the neck. So his voice box was actually lost or potentially completely broken when it fell from the cliff, and since no one else was on Earth at that time to back Bumblebee up no one else saw the fight or where the voice box may have fallen. So how would ratchet have ever fixed up Bumblebee with no correct voice box or the parts to even somewhat improvise.

in the 2007 Transformers 2 Disc DVD set, the 2nd disc comes with Transformers beginnings, which is animated, and gives us a look at what the war on cybertron was like. Bumblebee is the last line of defense and ends up fighting megatron to protect the Allspark. Megatron pins him against a wall and crushes his voice box.

Hey I came up with a theory on how megatron knew English. I believe it was because he could hear all the humans while he was frozen and basically learn the language over time. This also explains why the first thing he saids is “I am megatron” because he was constantly annoyed that they refer to him as “NBE-1”

I think bumblebee can only talk a little bit with his real voice. As you can see wen Ratchet fixes his voice a bit, he coughs and holds his throat as if he's in pain. My theory is that in the last knight Bumblebee's throat is still sensitive, and so he can only use his voice a little bit before it starts to hurt again

So basically what you're saying is. Bumblebee got his voice back after Optimus punched the voice box back into place? It still sounds like all you really need to do to fix it was for Optimus to beat him up. Personally, I like to think Bumblebee holding the AllSpark for a brief moment caused his voice box to slowly fix itself throughout the series. And of course before the events of Age of Extinction, Ratchet would slowly repair it. And by the time of the Last Knight, the final piece of the puzzle was for Optimus to beat Bumblebee around.

I kinda get how bumblebee feels. when I was younger, I couldn't really express myself properly with my own words, so I mainly spoke with action. then, I moved on to using quotes from movies, shows, songs, videogames, or even memes, to get my point across. as I got older, I've gotten better at speaking for myself and saying what I mean, but even still, I sometimes go back to just quoting references, and using this whole "animated" way of communicating, kinda out of habit, but mainly because the whole pop culture reference thing just became part of my personality (cringe, I know lol) (although sometimes my real voice comes out due to strong emotion as well) but long story short, speaking from experience, this theory makes a hell of a lot of sense.

You know, there was a point you made split across two separate points. Bumblebee makes a "dial change" sound before he speaks with his thought-to-be real voice in the first film and also before the few lines he spoke in The Last Knight. Thus the theory that Bumblebee combined his voice box with the radio is less plausible. What I want to say is that maybe when he speaks in the first film, he is quoting from another movie or television. "I wish to stay with the boy" has a different tone to it than if he said Sam's name, which both he and Optimus refer to him by, but it was the closest quote he could find to express himself. Now I searched this quote and didn't find where else it could have come from. Still, what do you think? End of the day, it's easier to just say that Michael Bay screwed up.

Sweet. One thing I would like to say is with Prime saying that he hasn't heard Bee's voice since cybertron. Some people would say that this is a retcon but I think there is a in universe reason which is that he just accidentally said that (ie he meant to say since the 07 film but said since cybertron) the reason could be that he was thinking about the time when bee lost his voice when he was mind controlled and just accidentally said that he last heard it since cybertron (since it kind of happened to me)

i just found something out. In TLK when bumblebee speaks that little circle thing it spins but while when he speaks in the 2007 movie it stays still. Almost like a vinyl record player. So the "damage" could be that a part of it was fractured or maybe even a piece of metal stuck and ratchet couldn't see it? Who knows.

This takes me back to the time I did my own theory on how Bee got his own voiced back, I pretty much came to the same conclusion as you did that Cade fixed it but I like how you added all of these extra details to better flesh out the concept. In the movies I always sort of imagined that the TF's could regenerate some of the parts and replace others(AOE Optimus Prime scans a new truck slightly changing his gun and body type) so I always assumed that once Cade did some of the heavy lifting at placing a sort of non functional voicebox in Bee it was only a matter of time until the wound healed itself. Joshua in TF4 did say that Transformiun is living metal sort of like living tissue or cells so I always sort of in the back of my head viewed it that way. Anyways, man my crazy theory rambling aside good job as always.

I remember in a online question and answer post with one of the production crew shortly after the 2007 movie, the explanation on why Bumblebee was able to talk at the end was that the beam Ratchet shot at his throat earlier was a “healing beam” that took some time after it was fired to finish its work and repair it enough for him to talk.

It seems that bumblebees voice box was functional. But the trauma from getting it damage the first time made him lose his ability to speak normally. Only under extreme like at the end of the last knight, when he really needed to he managed to speak again.

If you listen closely, his TLK voice sounds abit raspy, like someone whos dehydrated or getting over a sore throat. Also i thought when he used his radio voice when the Guardian Knights are around, and hound called them "Wusses", i thought bee was nervous especially after seeing what they can do to Optimus.

It's cool how you include all the movies and not discounting events in the bayverse trilogy since it got discontinued. I do like your theory videos a lot since you clearly put a lot of thought into them, unlike some of the other theory videos I've seen that don't really explain much at all or use some kind of left-field obscure reference as their "evidence" for why a thing happened the way it did.

Bumblebee lost his voice in a scene of the movie Bumblebee (2018) while fighting the Decepticon Blitzwing. He lost his voice when he said that he will never talk and got stabbed and got his voice box pulled out. So he didn't lost his voice on Cybertron. It is just that Cybertron is where Prime and Bee last talked and met before they are reunited on Earth.

Alright, I see some things that suggest more incontinuity with your theory... When I bought the 2007 DVD, the original release was released with a Bonus DVD called "Beginnings"... It was basically a rundown of a comic-book that showed Megatron damaging Bumblebees voice-box before he left Cybertron... Just do yourself a favor and check it out... its interesting... It may also, redefine your theory... Loved the video BTW...

I always thought his voice in tf1 wasnt his when i first saw the movie from his radio sound, though in many other transformer universes showing bumblebee’s true voice like in transformers prime due to the process of the cyber matter bee fell into carrying the star saber, after his death blast from megatron of his riot dark cannon, he was able to speak again showing a very same voice to the Michael bay film, so i think his voice may have been fixed in last night but maybe he wanted to keep it secret since he was in the company of only Cayde and Optimus prime, but i leave that as my opinion because your video was very well made a thousand props and cheers to you! Also could you make a video if its not too much to ask on the past brotherhood behind Optimus Prime and Megatron? I have dealt with too many experiences on boths sides on good and bad to be honest about and to know that it takes great and very deep hurt to shift megatron’s friendship to Optimus (now i know in comics he was angry about who was set prime by sentinel and then uncovered a artifact to turn him evil by the fallen, But its too easy, too fake, and frankly plain weird. Ive never seen any stories on their actual bond and friendship that led a appraised and trusted political leader and undefeated honorbound champion of kaon to Betray his friend that he considered an actual and only family to his spark.
