How did CamGuard Perform? Testing CamGuard for 50+Hours

Larry, thanks for another great video. I’m hoping to visit WW in the fall to build my engine. When should CamGuard start being used, i.e. during break-in, in addition to ZDDP during break-in, after break-in? Thanks!

Loving the explanation and actual/factual data. This provides evidence, not a salesman's pitch of a new product "taking America by storm" or "Disrupting the market". I for one, am getting pretty tired of such factless claims.

I use camguard. But I have to ask, how much of the reduction in metals, especially iron, is from the wearing-in of parts? You baseline id a relatively low number of runtime hours to start. I'd be interested more in the 50 hour to 100 hour and 100 to 200 hour numbers.

we didn't see any shift in wear after 20 hours on both engines. on the Comanche, the last data set was at 80 hours.

@@zenvairpilot cool. Thanks . I'm currently breaking in a set of TSIO 530's. Blackstone each oil change...I did the 10 hour break in then 15 more with mineral oil and Camguard. , currently using shell 100 plus with camguard, I should change the oil again in about 10 hours 2 months.
