Fascinating story! Thank you for sharing man. Two questions I have for you: 1. When you had the second interview was it treated as an identical separate interview (as if you never did the first one) or did they let you pick up where you left off and treat it as a second round interview (i.e. was the second interview different from the first)? 2. Thank you Mich! Yeah it was considered as a second identical interview and as the position was different so questions were different as well. Out of five, four questions were technical in a STAR format. I have a video on it recently incase you need it!

W. Salam. I will do that for sure Mohaimen!! Yeah for Boeing it’s common. Many of our engineers doing MS and PhD while they are working full time. Boeing not only allow you to do this but also they pay the money to your university as Tuition to continue your study. Simply, Boeing wants you to be more educated and innovative!! 😊

I have a few questions regarding career prospects in US and I would be grateful if you answer. 1. Did you have any ITAR/EAR issues? I heard that you have to have permanent residence or citizenship to get decent jobs as an aerospace engineer. Do you have a green card? 2. How competitive is the job market? I heard that the job market is really competitive with no deficiency of local fresh graduates so most employers don't want to deal with the hassle of sponsoring a visa. How true is it? 3. Thank you! 1. Green card or citizenship needed for many positions! But without these also there are few positions! So it’s not must! 2. The people who are living USA long time everyone eventually become citizen/green card holder. But not everyone get good job at big Fortune 500 companies! Only a very small fraction nail it. So yes, it is very tough to get a descent job specially you have compete not only with the local people but also people from whole world like you! Green card is just a requirement which almost everyone will get eventually (for people from India and China is tough though) 3. I don’t know about EU! But no other country can provide you so much opportunity that USA can! They are not even comparable!

Mostly spend time to understand the concepts of airplanes build your connection and love for this beautiful innovation!! I believe most important things is how much you feel the airplane (as you are an aerospace engineer).

Getting a job at Boeing as an Aerospace Engineer is very challenging no matter you are an USA citizen or a foreign person. I recommend you to go for mechanical engineering. Most of the position at Boeing required citizenship but there are few where you don’t need and those position are even more competitive.
