This game looks damn cool. And side note, if I've ever left a channel, I don't announce it as sort of 'Hey look at me go!' The 3 things I know about KZbin game content creators. You don't make the policy. You MUST saying 'Interesting' at least once per episode and finally if it's an early access game, you must also say 'It is what it is'. Oh, and I have KZbin premium. Though i do have to ask why a robot body needs oxygen (going off on the left arm of the PC) although seeing as how the Lazarus thing mentions DNA, Sex and other stuff it might be more of cyborg situation. omg, and its only 13 bucks on steam without a sale! I am in love with all the little bits of the world that make it feel like you are a part of something bigger going on. One of the things I disliked about games like ARK and all the other survival games is the rarity of worldbuilding objects and environmental storytelling. The abundance of this in the early game of Penkura really helped me understand my place in the world and got me super invested in it. Really hope the dev keeps the current system requirements in mind. All these game updates from studios lately are making me not be able to play games i paid for.

Well that was one of the longest build ups to get to character creation I've seen, at least you managed to select the male chromosome but then got totally confused when it came to allocating traits (DNA profile) due to speed reading the information in the computer and saying 'There's a lot going on here, I don't know what I'm doing'. I'm sure it won't matter in the long run as you'll probably get 'power ups' - Game looks interesting but maybe slow down just a little lol

The ability to read: The bane of every single KZbinr who tries to keep things from being "Boring". Taking things slower and a lack of "Yadda, Yadda" would probably have made progression faster. Then again, I play to immerse myself, Ive watched several KZbinrs play this, feeling the need to Speedrun and needlessly banter, and missing the code time and time again. 🤣

thumbnail vs actual game footage , the different is like the gap between earth and sky. so I doublecheck in steam . the conclusion is the same. the game does not have the graphics that the thumbnail shows. but I understand why its being used as the thumbnail.

LOL This is a great example of when the youtube player/reviewer does a better job of narrating than the paid voice actors hired by the game's developer. 🤣 Dude was trying to put some fake "gravel" into his voice to sound more manly, epic fail. Dude was trying to have an impressive fake accent, but it mostly just sounded like an unidentifiable Eastern European mush when it didn't have bits of Southern and Midwestern (USA) creeping into it. Clearly was reading a script, probably for the first time ever without any retakes or rehearsals. Granted, I'm not sure if I would personally be able to do it any better myself... but they PAID someone to act out those lines and that just seems wrong. But @FloppySword read his lines with gravitas and what felt like the right amount of emotional investment for the situation as it played out. So good job, sir. Other than that, it looks like an interesting game. I wish I had money so I could go pick up a copy. But I don't. Sad. Anyway, thanks for giving us a taste of this game. I'll add it to my wishlist for "someday if I win the lottery" alongside Cyberpunk 2077 and the FFVII remake.
